I am so undecided.

I can't leave until Aug 15th. The question, fly to Paris and spend parts of two days and one night in the city then take the train, or fly directly to Barcelona and explore that city?

If I depend on DCL for air will they even let me leave early?

Hi everyone

It's taken me awhile to read this entire thread, but I've done it!

I've been so focused on our upcoming trip to DisneyWorld (leaving Sunday) and figuring out the whole Dining Plan (how it works, where to book, how to use credits, etc. etc.) I FORGOT that I wasn't registered on this thread yet for next year's cruise! Only ONE YEAR to go!!!

We (my DH, DD who will be 11 on this cruise, and myself) scored one of the SPR Rooms back when DCL started booking (first time seeing ANY daylight from a cabin on the ship ) This will be our third DCL cruise, having done a 7-night Western and the 14-night Panama cruise with the Fools.

Lots of fantasy airfare/touring plans being made so far! We're planning to fly from Toronto (probably on Zoom) to Paris, arriving Monday and staying near DLP until we take the train to Barcelona on Friday night. Good to know we'll have company on the train!

I'm NEVER going to get 63 pages behind again!!!

Can anyone who is going to the SoF meet in 2 weeks tell me WHY I keep getting the SAME Grand Gathering itinirary from Disney on a daily basis? In the MAIL??? Don't they know 1 dead tree is enough???

BTW, who else is going???

I will explain more when I get there - but the reason Grand Gatherings keeps sending you stuff- is they are basically STUPID PEOPLE .... (sorry had to vent a bit).

Both Janet & I will be at both of the GG - 9/1 & 9/3 .... other people will be there too

Started to pack already for next week ..... our neice's dress -Cinderella takes up half the garmet bag We had a *practice* overnight on Sunday night .... Her mother started having some contractions .... but no baby yet - she is still at the hospital on bed rest - but okay. Hopefully Bianca Victoria will make her appearance before our trip.

GG people aren't that bright!

I have been getting a new confirmation daily since we started booking this!

Everytime there is a person added or a change of some sort, then send another confirmation!

I think there was only one week where I did not receive them and was happy! But alas, they have started up again!

I think it's too many fingers in the pot, and with some paying and some using TS Credits, we are confusing them!

Maybe they have an abundance of these purple envelopes that they need to dispose of?

Hopefully, this will be the last of them!

We just got back from Florida - one week on the Magic and one week doing the parks. Now maybe I can settle down & read the posts & get busy planning for next year.
I've stayed away because the Magic trip we just took was a family trip & we had the Roy Suite - what a treat for all of us. We had the Suite plus the two rooms next to the Suite for the 11 of us that went.
Of course, now I would like to have the Roy or Walt Suite on every cruise but it would take winning a Lotto to be able to do it again.
I will be happy to catch up while some of you are cruising & doing the parks now.

I'm dancin'......you can't stop me! I can almost hear "Let's Get it Started" playing! I wonder if we'll be waving big white plastic Mickey hands when we sail out of Barcelona in a year? I get chills just thinking about it!

DisneyPata, it sounds like you had a wonderful trip. How fun! I'm counting down 6 months to my family's parks / cruise trip in Feb. Right now Feb. seems SO far away. (sigh) I'll just have to be patient. The good news is that I have a major distraction that's keeping my mind busy. My DH and I just broke ground on our new house and are having basement walls poured at the moment. I wonder if the concrete guys could mold a Mickey-shaped fountain for me while they're at it? Hhhmmmmmmm.....that would look nice near the front walkway! Ya think?

Better work......sheesh.
