We live in Beaverton too! The Bethany area. How about you? It will be DH, myself and DD who will be 10 at the time od sailing. We will be going to DLP before the cruise. I have been looking at transportation options and it all looks very expensive. Lots more research to do on this trip.

We live in Vancouver, Washington. We would be up for a meet at the Southcenter Rainforest Cafe.

Oooh, Ds2mom, I love the bag. Of course I have always believed that I am one good bag or one rubbermaid container away from total organization. :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yup, that's me, too! Delusional to the end... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh yeah! Let's pick a weekend and do it! I hear RFC has a Volcano with my name on it. I'm willing to share, too! :lmao: :lmao:

Right -- I'm officially obsessed with the little lmao icon... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Okay the list is updated - 193 people sailing 61 groups --

We do need counts from some people. :goodvibes

DisneyElf ... I'd love to come to NYC!! BUT that would be a whole other vacation for me :)

For the list of where we're all coming from --- I'm from St. Albert, Alberta, Canada --- St. Albert is adjacent to Edmonton (Wayne Gretzky, West Edmonton Mall, geez I can't think of anything else :confused3 ).

Erica -- we're East Coasters....sorry. But I grew up in the Midwest! Does that count? :goodvibes
:rotfl:

Yes. Thank you. I feel better now! It's good to have some folks from the midwest onboard...a few less people that will give me a hard time for my "ya you betcha" type accent! :rotfl2: Seriously! That's the first thing I always hear. I start up a conversation on a cruise & someone points out my midwest accent and tells me it's funny! ACK! I might need counseling after this cruise! :lmao: Go easy on me, eh?

Anyways, thanks for the good vibes on my house sale. Fairey godmother,I'm sending you pixie dust so you can sell yours fast too. :wizard: Now I can start putting money away for this cruise. I might as well start sending boxes of cash to Mickey...such a sneaky mouse. He always knows how to take my money before it even hits the bottom of the piggy bank!

It looks like our evil plan is working. We are slowly swallowing the ship with Disers one deck at a time!

I figure I will be comatose for the first day due to a combination of the time change and heavy-duty drugs to get me through the flight.
You and my mother Barb! I'm guessing some heavy-duty drugs are in order for her too. She snores though, so maybe that's a bad idea!

I'd better put my Mickey pjs on and get to bed. I'm a sleepy little cruiser. Gosh I wish I could be rocked to sleep by the Magic tonight.

I miss being rocked to bed ....

Okay - first semi-official meet will be after the lifeboat drill in the promonade lounge :thumbsup2 Hmmm - but since we aren't sailing off til Sunday - they might not have the drill til Sunday - so.... we will need a backup plan - we can always meet at RBD around 10 to party :rotfl2:

piglet33 -- Our local AAA branch office started carrying Baggallini items a few years back and I've been seriously hooked on them ever since. The "Only Bag" looks great, too! What color did you get?

I'm especially fond of these for DCL cruises: http://www.baggallini.com/product.asp?category=4&product=112&mode=price. Just throw 1 or 2 those babies in your suitcase and you're ready for souvineer transport! :cool1:

And they come in wonderful, bright colors, too.....LOVE the turquoise and lime green ones.....verrrrry Caribbean! Hmmm....wonder what colors would be best for the Med? (Don't tell DH that I'm thinking of even MORE bags to purchase or I'll be cruisin' single.) :rolleyes1

Definitely agree -- this little icon is great! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2: :lmao: Shopping already for the cruise :goodvibes

Heh - I've already started my box - dropping stuff into their that I won't need til I cruise again ... :woohoo:

I got the Only Bag in Blue. I just checked the UPS website and it says it's out for delivery so it should be here some time today.

The funny thing when my husband heard that I ordered another bag, he wanted to know why I need another bag. He just doesn't get it. :confused3 I feel like it's an addiction though. :rotfl2:

Renee

BTW - this is the site I ordered it from:

http://www.packinglight.net/plight/

It has lots of tidbits about packing light. I thought for this trip, a lot of us could benefit from that. :thumbsup2

Great work Renee. You are the ultimate organized cruiser! Don't try to explain it to your DH...he'll forget about your purchase in time. Now I'm feeling left out because I have never heard of these bags. They look very cool though! I might have to think about getting my hands on one....or six.

I'm heading to WI for the weekend. We're going to have the traditional family egg hunt & such. Should be great fun. I hope everyone has a lovely Easter. Maybe, if we're all lucky, the Easter bunny will throw some Vista Spa coupons in our baskets! Speaking of, who here does the rainforest room package on their cruises? I've never tried it. It's so tempting! I hope to give it a shot when we're sailing across the Atlantic....me and 500 other people!

No, the rainforest room is heaven on earth. It's a spa area with heated stone seats, a fragrant fountain, and some sauna and showers with aromatherapy. It is THE MOST relaxing area on the ship. I usually bring a book there...and fall asleep! :thumbsup2

Can we join your discussion group? Our first cruise was last year to the Mexican Rivera. What fun! I started reading your discussion prior to the cruise being officially announced, wishing we'd be able to go on the next special cruise. On April 4th we made reservations for a CAT 4, and just found out we'll be on deck 8. We are a family of four, myself, DH, DS (age 10 at time of sailing), and DD (also age 10 at time of sailing).
