Bringing cooler, where to get ice daily?

I am taking the advice of several members and bringing a cooler, especially since we are driving down. Staying at the RPR...My question is where do I get ice daily? Can I just get it from the ice machine? I know most hotels frown on that-at least for your cooler anyways....or is there a store in the hotel and how the much is a bag of ice? a small fortune?....Thanks!
