Bringing bottled water

This is my 7th DCL cruise, but last one was 2019 and I’ve forgotten some things. Can we bring bottled water in carryon luggage in Civitavecchia? The last Med cruise was so hot that I’d like to be able to bring several bottles on every excursion. I know I can pre-buy through onboard gifts, but would rather not.

You are allowed to carry on non-alcoholic beverages. The only limitation is that you must carry them yourself until your room is ready -- they should not be placed in checked luggage. (Of course, you could also bring empty reusable containers and fill them up each morning before disembarking.)
