As anyone brought Boogie Boards from home or bought them after arriving in Florida? My kids would love to have them for beach days, but I'm trying to decide if it's worth the trouble. I might be able to fit them in the suitcase, but otherwise we will be carrying them on when we board. We have a grocery stop scheduled (probably the Publix in Cocoa) would them have Boogie Boards in Mar/Apr?

I do not believe you can bring those on board. According to the DCL site under Prohibited Items:

Kites, balloons, surfboards, wave boards, inflatable floats/pools (including pool noodles), and wagons

I would consider boogie boards the same as a wave board. Sorry!

Oh gosh...that never occurred to me to check! I knew they would be a no-go for the pools on board, but didn't realize they were prohibited completely! Thanks, it will spare me the trouble!

I've never seen a big enough wave to be able to ride a boogie board in any of the ports.
I would call St. John "slightly turbulent" but nothing like the way we can ride a wave up here.
