Bringing back Waterford crystal from Nassau?

We're crusing on the Wonder in April and are considering buying Waterford crystal wine glasses in Nassau during our stop. Of couse if we do, we'll need to either have it shipped back home, pack in our suit cases, or carry it back as a carry-on on the airplane. Can anyone tell me if the airlines allow crystal wine glasses as a carry-on considering if their broken, they could be used as a weapon. Thanks in advance for any help.

We brought glass back on our last cruise in our carry-on bag without any trouble. I checked the guidelines and it isn't on the list of items that aren't allowed to be brought on in your carry-on. In addition, I'll add this food for thought: My teenage daughter is an iceskater and we travel for competitions. When we fly, she is allowed to have her iceskates as her carry-on. Let me tell you, those blades can be SHARP!!! I was shocked that this was allowed but they said we were okay....
