We can bring ours but I'm just debating adding another item to schlep around. Has anyone ever just used the hotel's? Not sure if they are gross...btw we're staying at Best Western Premier Kissimmee.

I had always read that ones in hotels got gross with things like boogers and other yucky things smeared on the netting. For this reason i always brought my own with me. A couple of times I opened the pack n plays in hotels and they always looked fine to me. One thing to note is to bring your own sheets, bc most hotels only give you a flat sheet to use in the pack n plays. The best thing we bought was a roller bag for our pack n play, made travelling with it easy.

Sent from my phone using DISBoards Ap, please excuse any typos and autocorrect mistakes.

We are dvc so can only speak for those but we have always found the pnps to be clean and like new.

I'd want my own, but maybe I'm just weird like that. I've never had any experience with hotel PnPs, though.

The one time we wanted to use one it smelled like vomit. This was at the BWV - I didn't see a stain so maybe they had tried to clean it, but I just couldn't use it for my daughter because of the smell. She ended up sleeping in the bed between my husband and me.

We used theirs and it seemed just fine. They actually brought us a cute Disney themed crib sheet for it but I used my own (mostly because I had that sheet for 3 years and had never used it!).

As pp said I would use one form hotel - just make sure to bring your own sheet. We did this for DS when we first went to Disney. Also, I would bring travel pack of cloroz or lysol wipes with you - this way you can wipe down the top rim and sides of the Pnp as well. And I would also see no problem if the pnp the hotel supplies you with seems unacceptable or too scuzzy to use just ask for another...

I you have the space I would bring it. You never know IF its gonna be dirty. Also , it may make LO sleep better having something from home that smells like home and feels familiar.

We have made a dozen trips with a little one in a PnP and I never brought my own. There is no way I would lug it all that way with everything else.

But to each their own, my BIL and SIL rented one from Orlando crib rental but I'm sure it gets used just as much probably more than a WDW one.

We bring our own. I don't feel like cleaning the one at the hotel and I personally wouldn't put DD in it without cleaning it first.

We used one provided by BLT and it was fine. We even used their Mickey Mouse crib sheet, which looked clean. No issues, thankfully!

I'm leaning towards just bringing mine...it seems like banking on a clean one may be a mistake! If the hotel has a regular crib that would be easier to wipe down than a PnP's mesh sides, though. I'm thinking maybe I should give them a call.

Definitely the wipes!

There's a product called Cover Play that is a removable pack and play cover that you can wash. Some hotels use them or you can buy your own. Folded up, it's no bigger than a little blanket.

We travel a lot and I always just used the hotel cribs or pack and play. Our kids are so disgusting anyway, that sleeping in a shared crib never bothered us compared to some of the things they've touched or put in their mouths on a regular day. We just used clean sheets to cover the bottom and our little guys always traveled with their blankies so it worked for us.

Last year was our first time in 12 years that we didn't have to pack baby gear. It was heaven!

The Cover Plays look nice, I've never seen those before! And an excellent point on kids being gross :rotfl2:
