Hello Everyone,

My husband and I went to disneyland for the first time in 10 years. We live in the area, just haven't had the chance or extra money to get there. Plus we brought our two new additions to the family our 15 month old Daughter and 5 month old son.

It was a warm day and Disneyland no longer has the refillable cups. We are on a budget and we noticed we spent most of our money on drinks.

I know your not suspose to bring your own food/drinks to disneyland, has anyone ever brought in like a bag full of sodas/water or food? We would like to go back to DCA with our 2fer tickets but would like to bring in a diaperbag with sodas/water filled up without getting in trouble at bag check.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Melissa

We always do. My husband carries a big backpack and it is loaded with water bottles, juice boxes, and snacks - they have never said a thing to us about it.:goodvibes

I always bring in my own water. The most I've ever had was 3 bottles at one time, I've never had anyone mention that I couldn't bring them in.

You can bring snacks and drinks in just no glass containers/bottles and no hard sided cooler. A backpack/fannypack/diaper bag are all fine.

Yep, we always bring our own water too, and just refill at the water things..

Also know that you can refill a bottle at various water fountains, including a place inside the seating of Rancho del Zocalo where there's actually a water station.

Or just ask any restaurant of any kind for a cup of water, free!

Official DL policy is "no outside food or drink" but the CMs have been instructed to ignore everything but full hard-sided coolers. We brought in bottled water and snacks every day.

No glass and no hard coolers but everything else is fine. We usually take our own water too. :)

We bring in small sandwiches, snacks and drinks.Like others have said just no glass/cans or hard coolers. We are always on a budget at DL but that hasn't spoiled a trip yet.:)

We always bring water bottles (which I refill, because I'm cheap) and small snacks. No CM has ever so much as commented.

In truth how can a CM comment on someone bringing in their own snack/sandwiches. There are so many food allergies out there now that it would be almost "politically incorrect" to say something.

Freeze most of the water bottles/juice boxes and then they will be cold for a few hours.

I always bring in drinks, including cans of soda, lots of them. No one says anything. You can ask for a cup of ice at any restaurant and it is company policy to give it to you gratis.
