I'm gonna make a coffee table...

Why am I telling you this... cuz Im using all my park maps, and old Disney tickets, and stickers, and everything that most people use to scrapbook - but I dont scrapbook....and gonna put it on this thing, and sh'lack the heck out of it....

What shape coffee table? Round, Square, ..... hmmmm, a Mickey Head??

Oh, we're moving into a new house, so Im having a creative SPURT moment.

If you do it in the shape of the Disney Wonder or the Disney Magic, it might fit in your space better than a Mickey head...and you could download the sound of the Mickey boat, put it into a little machine with a button on it, and hear the sound whenever you're feeling down....

I'd just shop resell stores or garage sales and find an old beat up one that has the lines / shape I want. You should be able to find a good quality table that way. I redid my kitchen table, painted it black and then put old coke ads on it. I'd bought the table & chairs years ago at a garage sale for I think $75 but the finish had gotten pretty bad in some places. Since it was solid wood I used wood filler to smooth out the cracks and sanded it all down. Once I painted it you can't tell at all where the rough spots were.

Great idea! I saw some step stools that had cute pictures shellacked (sp?) at a craft show. Post pictures of your final project!
