Bridge from POP to AoA?

My sister will be staying at POP and we will be at AoA.. I have read there is a bridge connecting the two resorts, is it a far walk? We will be in the Lion King section. Another question...which hotel should we start the day off at to catch the buses to the parks?

Yes, there definitely is a bridge that connect the two. It is not a far walk, depending on where at Pop your sister's room is (Pop is a very large resort), I would say maybe ten minutes or less. I'm assuming from your question that you will be going to the parks with your sister, and our experience is that both had good bus service, so maybe leave from one resort one day and the next day try the other one. Or maybe if one of you has small children and the other doesn't, then have the one who doesn't have the little ones do the walking over to the other resort! Just a suggestion!

yes the generation gap bridge connects the two resorts.
you can also walk around the lake to get from one to the other.
it only takes a few minutes to walk from one main building to the toher.
personally i'd always take POP's buses because i think they are more efficient but thats just me.

You can look at the map on the Resort Forum under each resort - they are usually on the first page. If you are in LK section, building 6 is closest to the bridge, and for POP the 60s buildings are closest. You could request these to be close to each other over the bridge, but then you would not necessarily be close to the front where the buses come and food court are in your own resort. For that LK building 10 would be closest, and at POP 6o's is still good, but closer rooms will mostly be preferred. I don't think there'd be a big difference where you leave from, one will have to walk across the bridge and to the front of the other resort. We have only stayed at POP, but were happy with the service. Coming back to the resort at night, you could take whichever bus is there first, or take seperate buses back for less walking at night( if you both stay near the front).

The bridge between AoA and POP isn't really a very long walk.

If you are back at the hotel in the evening, you can watch the Star Wars fireworks. Best seen from the Pop side of the bridge, looking over the Lion King building.

The walk between the two is not bad at all. I had good experiences with both Pop and AoA buses, but I think Pop's were a bit quicker, at least during our stay there (only stayed once.)
