Bridesmaid Dresses!

Hi gals,

So I'm having a bit of trouble picking out bridesmaid dresses for my girls! My bridesmaids all live in different states and then we are ALL traveling to Orlando for the wedding. I saw ones I loved, then they were discontinued and I've seen other nice ones since then, but they were quite pricey. I really don't want them to spend a lot. I'd like them to spend no more than $110 each at the absolute MAX (not including alterations).

Maybe you guys can show me what your bridesmaids wore/are wearing and tell me where you got them from?

Another great store is Alfred Angelo. They have a wide selection of dresses from size 2-24 and in 55 different colors.

I agree. Alfred Angelo does have great dresses!!

They sell their dresses at www.bestbridalprices.com if you go to a store and try them on, maybe you can go to that website and get them cheaper.

also check out stores. ann talor celebrations, j crew has some really cute dresses. Check out their sale section- always a lot of cute dresses on sale. or banana republic. That way they can just go down and get measured and order everything online. Good luck and tell us what you decide on. I went with DB but the dresses with tax are around the $150 range. And that is for knee length gowns.

I've been in a few weddings recently and I've noticed David's Bridal and the internet are the only two places that you'll be likely to find a dress under $175. Good luck!!

I think it really depends on the sort of style that you want. I don't really want to go with any of the "traditional" style bridesmaid dresses - and I use that term loosely. I'd much prefer summery cocktail dresses for my bridesmaids. I personally haven't seen anything on Alfred's or David's sites that I want...

Try the stores. They oftentimes have older stuff that isn't on the website that would be cheaper and maybe what you are looking for? How about a department store... like Macys? Or even a bridal boutique that carries a variety of brands. Sometimes people have luck trying on in a boutique and then ordering online on independent sites.

Try ebay, my sil got her j.crew wedding dresses from ebay. Yes that is not a typo - she had two. She wore one (shorter dress) for the wedding chapel ceremony with just the parents and MOH and best man. Then the longer one for the reception. Both dresses were in perfect condition and had the tags on when she purchased them. The shorter dress was $12 and the long dress was only $95. Good Luck!

My DD chose the dress below for her bridesmaids dresses (Eden Bridals - Style #7172). The model in the picture really doesn't do it justice. The dress will be a pinky peach color, not the red in the picture. The dresses were purchased at Demetrios Bridal and were priced at $150, but since we got them on our 1st visit, they were 20% off (or $120).
