"Bride" & "Groom" t-shirts in park on our anniversary?? VOTE!

How do you feel about wearing the t-shirts at WDW on Anniversary?

  • Cute idea! Wearing it on your actual anniversary is fine.

  • Dumb idea! People will think you're there for your honeymoon and that's not accurate.

I want to get the bride and groom tshirts, does anyone have any ideas besides www.zazzle.com ? I don't like their selection and I can't put exactly what I want on the shirt, they have limited options...thanks!

Disneydirect.com has t shirts you can personalize.

I think they are intended for gatherings, large families that want to make matching shirts, but they do have a Mickey/Minnie bride and groom design.

sweet I'll have to check that out, I may just have to find a place around here to do it custom, it always kind of scares me ordering clothes online..this way I know how it'll fit exactly.

Is it hard to just do an iron on yourself? How does that work, I've never done it before?

I did one for DD's bday last year. I was really nervous that I would ruin it, but it came out great!

The most important thing to remember is to check if you need to print a BACKWARD or RIGHT-FACING image. The transfer paper (available in office supply and craft stores) will give detailed instructions about which way is correct for their paper. Pay attention!

When you go to iron it on, the directions advise against using an ironing board. I used my smooth glass-surface electric stovetop and was pleased with the results.

Also, keep in mind that you will probably be able to wear the shirts only once or twice. The do-it-yourself iron-ons are not known to survive many machine washing and drying cycles.

thanks!! I'm just hoping to be able to wear them a few days while on our honeymoon, beyond that they'd pobably get relinquished to the bottom of the closet. I'll have to look into this, it's probably a lot cheaper than special ordering them anyways :) princess:
