Bridal purse, clutch, bag... whatever you call it. Post your pic!

I can't decide if I should bother shopping for a purse of some kind to hold my essentials on the wedding day. For some reason the concept of having a purse while in full wedding attire just seems really odd.

Can you ladies share what you ended up doing for a purse-type-thing? Pics would be helpful!

I don't have a photo but I got a great one on ebay for about $10.00. My dress is white with silver thread and lots of crystals. My clutch is silver and has silver beads. I'll see if I can find something similar and post. I believe mine came with two different length silver chain straps also - so you use it as a clutch or add a strap.

I always want a bag, just for some touch up stuff (powder, lipstick). I am not sure if I will be wearing a watch but if I don't it will be in my bag. I am also going to put some tissues and yes even though we are having Misty as our photographer - I never go anywhere without my camera.

My future mother-in-law bought me a small Jessica McClintock (sp?) purse that's beaded for my wedding....and though it was a nice gesture it's not what I would ever choose and quite honestly, I'm not going to be using a bag. I'll just hand my mom something if I need it but I'm getting married at CC on the beach so I can't imagine needing something besides eye drops in case the sand gets in my eyes (I have contacts and that would kill!).

So yeah...I think I'll be without a purse on wedding day (happily so).

Oh, I'd LOVE to share a picture of my bag -- I am going to give it to my friend to hold for me until after the ceremony, so that I will have my lipstick/makeup touchup kit, hankie, bandaids and my camera.

So, here it is:

I got a great buy on ebay. I'd seen one similar for $120 that was embellished only on one side and the back was satin. This one is embellished on both sides and was $19.99 plus shipping! It is embellished with seed pearls and sequins and has all silver hardware. It is soooo much prettier in person. The picture just doesn't do it justice.

That's so cute! I didn't know DFTW sold bridal purses!

My mom said she bought me a silver sequined bag. I have no idea what it looks like, I'll just see when I get down there. Hopefully it looks as good as what you ladies have!

I used the one that Jodee used. I loved it and still have it here. It was just the perfect size for my id, a credit card, powder and a lip gloss.
