Was dreaming about the Brussel Sprouts at Brew Wing (Epcot, F&W 2022). Imagine my disappointment when I finally sat down with my wings and brussels (mind you, the outside temperature was probably hovering around 120 degrees and complete hell) and I started munching the sprouts. To my dismay not only where they mixed with buffalo sauce (which I knew) but also a very smelly blue cheese. Suffering from brain burn out, I was halfway through when I realized why the sprouts were so disgusting. I went up to the counter to say something, and they were nice, and offered to make me a new dish without the cheese. I really didn't want a new portion, but I told them they really have to add that onto the description. What if someone had a food allergy? And, after all, blue cheese isn't quite the most polite cheese out there. It would have been nice had they given me a credit, but anyway, the wings weren't that great either (I should have remembered that from last year).....and I will probably not stop at this location moving forward.

So, the description from DFB lists the Crispy Brussels Sprouts as plant-based. So this was either a mistake by an individual server, or a super-new addition to that entrée, because it seems unlikely that they would add some kind of plant-based "cheese" with no mention of it at all in the description.

Sorry, you didn't like it, but I personally would be more likely to give it a try if I knew that Bleu cheese was added.

It wasn't an oversite, the festival menu at the front of the pavilion clearly lists plant based blue cheese and plant based ranch as components of the dish. However, the menu board above the service counter did not. So it was not a mistake but is easily understandable how one could have missed it. Personally they were my favorite thing in there, but I adore blue cheese.

Shoot, I love buffalo and bleu cheese, but I'd never know since I don't conisder brussles sprouts to be food! 😁

Definitely knew it was plant based prior to even going to the festival because of the menu app. It was one of the few things my dd was excited to try.
It was also described as plant based in the festival passport.
It does seem strange that it wasn’t shown as vegan on the board inside. That does stink, there were things I was looking forward too that weren’t the same as past F&W so I totally get your disappointment

It does state that it has plant based cheese… side note as someone who has a love/hate relationship with plant based cheeses does anyone know what brand they used on that item as it was good
