Brevard Zoo

We are wondering if this may be a fun activity with you boys (4 and 7) the day before the cruise. Anybody got any info?

I live in Orlando and have made the trip to the Brevard Zoo a few times. Its a very nice zoo that had a new expanded area open up last year. My DS8 really enjoys going there and feels its worth the drive for us. I think your children would enjoy it.

Thanks JAKcruiser! How far of a drive would you say the zoo is from Cocoa Beach?

I would say about 15 minutes is all it would take you to get there. An easy drive and a relaxing day prior to the cruise. Enjoy!

Yep, it is about 15 minutes. It is a small zoo, with small animals. We just had the giraffe exhibit open last year, and there is something new also. It is a nice, clean and safe place. My kids enjoy it, and it is definetly worth the admission price.
