Breathless Refurb???

I tried to make a Breathless reservation for March 18th this morning. I diligently called right at 7 am and I was thrilled to be told that it was available. ABout half way through confirming the reservation the CM told me that she couldn't continue any further to complete the reservation. I asked if a pontoon was available, which it was, so I booked it. Once I had secured the pontoon I asked what was going on with the Breathless. The CM said that it had been taken our for Refurbishment in October but didn't have anything further so I asked to be transfered to Customer Service where I received the same answer. Does anyone know what's going on with Breathless? I would prefer to do the breathless tour but I am thrilled that at least we have a pontoon boat for now.

Breathless has severe dry rot and is sitting at the Yacht Club marina on a hoist right now. She is supposed to be shipped to Michigan to begin repair. HOWEVER - they don't know when she will be shipped. Once there it will take at least 5 weeks to be repaired and then shipped back.

I know all of this because I was supposed to be on Breathless last Tuesday. We were instead switched to a pontoon. The cruise was still fantastic, though!

Thanks for the information. Verry disappointing. Hopefully they will get Breathless back in action before our trip in March. It's always amazing how the people on the DIS seem to know more than the CMs at Disney....or at least they post respones like they know more...
