Great cause - great pics. They do the same thing here in the Dallas area. I have thought about doing it - but would need some serious training first.

Jeff - Are you doing it or just filming it? If doing it, good luck and let us know where we can donate.:thumbsup2

I did it in 2002 to celebrate my 1 year anniversary after completing my breast cancer treatment (well, it never ends but the walk in Boston was about 1 year after I finished my last radiation session). We had horrrible weather - rain, hail, and even snow on the second day but it was the most uplifting, emotional experience of my life.

DVCJen - If you get a chance, you should do it! Yes, you need to train but it will change your life forever. There are always plenty of training groups you can join.

Hey Sharon congratulations on being a survivor. I had an Aunt who wasn't as fortunate. Both of my parents died of cancer when I was a teen - two and a half years apart. So anything that benefits cancer of any kind is very important to me.

I wish you all the best and will pray you remain cancer free.

Thanks Sharon & Jen-

No I was not walking- just taking a few pictures is all- I just read about it this morning and it's like five minutes from my office. Sometimes I go down there and take some bird pictures at the pier first thing in the morning.

I totally agree - great pictures, even better cause!! :thumbsup2 Our 3 Day was held in Chicago the end of August or beginning of September. It was awesome to see all of those people walking. The best part was seeing the police officers and men on motrocycles all dressed in pink!! :cutie:

Thank you for sharing. :flower3:
