Breaking trip! Help needed :)

Hi Friends,

Long time, no post! But looks like two lucky family members of mine will be escaping CNY for a trip to The World the last week of August. Any advice on the best/least expensive way to book? I assume Dreams Unlimited for a little 4 day adventure. I see there are no discounts for the end of August, unless value rates still apply. This is the latest we've ever waited to book a disney vacation, but batten down the hatches, here we (okay, wife and daughter) come!

Does anyone have an AP? There are still AP discounts available for late August.

If not, try AAA. If you want a package, you will have to book through AAA directly. Otherwise, you can book a room-only AAA reservation by calling Disney yourself.

At this late date, I would either deal directly with Disney or else use a local TA. Dealing with an internet TA means emailing back and forth plus hoping that they will be able to get your documents to you in time. A local TA would be able to answer your questions over the phone or in their office. You would be able to pick up your documents as soon as they arrive at the TA's office. I'm not saying that internet TAs are not on the ball, but when you're in a time crunch, it's often more efficient to deal with someone local.

They can check out David's and see if he has any last minute DVC deals! Or, the DVC Rent/Trade board.
