Breaking News - WDW and McDonalds to part ways

Now if america could just kick Micky D's out of all those hospitals that would be a good step forward!

I have never been able to understand why (at least here in Richmond, Va) that we have a Macdonalds in every hospital around!

Great food for heart patients;)

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: OMG! Are you serious??? You have McDonalds in hospitals?

(Excuse my dumbness....I live over the pond so don't know about these things!)

You're not the dumb one.

Our hospital has a Dunkin Donuts, too.

And they have one creepsville mascot too. Or, am I the only one that gets freaked out by "The King?"

How about the commercial where the "King" is looking through some poor guys bedroom window first thing in the morning holding a hamburger! That has got to be against the law. Can you say restraining order.

i guess i am alone in thinking that those "king" commercials are a riot...I loved the one where he just takes over the football game

Thanks for the info John.

I had heard McDonald's was removing their food from Restaurantausaurus, but now it's everywhere else.

I assume the attraction sponsorships will stay in place; i.e. dinosaur and The Boneyard. I hope so because I would hate to see those attractions degraded because of lack of sponsorship.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Disney removing transfats from the parks? It seems that is the first thing that comes to my mind anymore when I hear Disney is removing a particular food or brand of food from the parks.

That latest one where he is a robot and the woman goes, "He's so good with his hands." :crazy2:

And Ronald McDonald is not???

quote]

I think the King is way creepy just standing there not saying anything at least Ronald doesn't have a plastic face!!!!

One of the guys at work dressed as The King for Halloween!!! The whole nine yards with the creepy mask and everything, he looked exactly like the guy in the commercials and OMG, he scared the crap out of me! :scared1:

Same here! Mc Donalds and Dunkin Doughuts. They made a BIG deal about how they banned smoking anywhere on their property, how they were looking out for the health of their patients and employees, but hey, come on in and have a Big Mac, some fries and a couple doughnuts for dessert! :rotfl:

Is this going to spill over or include Disneyland Resort also? They have a French Fry wagon near BTMR in Disneyland and in DCA a CS with combo meals (-the drinks which are sold seperately).

wow ! I hope they don't close the mcdonalds in downtown dinsney next . but I happy not to smle the frys in the park :yay:

Better than our hospitals in Herts that don't even have A&E's! I'd gladly have a Mc Donalds if we could have our A&E back!

I heard about this ages ago, or was that something different? I got told they had ended the partnership with McDonalds for toys, but still did fries but were gradualy phasing that out.

Its in my essay and everything!
