China admits it's smog in thier air to its people, instead of lying to them that it is fog.

About the only exciting thing that happened was that one of the major aussie banks had an outage last night from about 6 pm onwards. No one who banked with them had access to internet banking, ATMs nor EFTPOS transactions. That's the bank we use....so I ran on their website this morning to check account balances. Wild rumours of incorrect balances were flying around last night by some of the other clients who managed to have a look at their balances just before the system went down.....
thankfully and sadly, everything looks the same with our accounts.

We have an olive/cherry pitter. Whenever we eat cherries, either DH or I will just pit a whole bowlful. No need to worry about the pits.
