Where are you skiing? And when does the cruise fit it?
http://www.snow.com/epic-pass.aspx

We are staying in Vail and Breckenridge across the time...

Cruise first...then ski...then driving holiday

From what our friends told us, Boston traffic improved somewhat after the Big Dig was completed.
Yes that's what I hear. I'm just going to deal with it whatever may come. Just hoping the weather is good. We have survived -30 wind chill in Montreal :lmao:

I would have thought that all the planning was completed, but now that I read you have so many additional cities included in your trip, I can see why the planning is not complete. I thought it was just the cruise and WDW.

I'm glad they finally completed that. I don't know when they started it, but I know it definitely impacted at least one of my trips and if it impacted more than it went on for way way way to long.
I've been a bit lax. My brother sorts out the 'driving itinerary' part and although I am supposed to then do more detailed looking at places to visit of particular interest to me I just haven't been in the mood and so tired and stressed with work.

This accommodation dilemma was an unexpected surprise though. But I've pretty much decided. I've gone against advise of a friend who visits quite often for her sister's medical treatment. But near the USS constitution seems to still work.
Christmas cakes. I've been soaking my fruit in bourbon since Friday.
:love::love::love:

You're all sex offenders.

I never had the opportunity for such playground activity till I was at University....my parents believed in all girls school. :rolleyes1
I did a bit of both and never was in that kind of situation :confused3

I know can you belive that kids are now being considered sexual predators, they don't even know better at that point!
There is a big problem with teen pregnancies in the UK. Girls as young as 12 getting pregnant and keeping the kid.
Of course there are those also placed in awful situations from their families. In his line of work DBF has dealt with Girls from Eastern Europe who are pregnant with no idea what to do. Most lose the kids as they are born premature.

So...was it a good Saturday for everyone?
Meh...sorting stuff to pack. Research...

Same on Sunday too :lmao:
The storm and southerly has come through....

No park days :sad2:
We'll go to DTD shopping and maybe the outlets the day we get back....before our flight to Denver...but no park days.
Some of the family are leaving earlier and get park days but we decided because of unknown work conditions in my situation...and the odd people my mum works for...to choose to leave essentially in Dec only.
It's a psychological thing with getting leave time

Sorry. For some reason I thought we had park days that were crossing. The cruise will be a lot of fun. It is definitely worth a trip to Orlando on your way to Denver. I am so excited for ours on 12-08-11, since it will be our first one ever. Can you believe I've never been skiing either? Will do that when our kids are bigger. I have a feeling everything is going to woek out with your job. Here's hoping! Have a nice, safe, fun trip.

I just broke a tinkerbell ornament :headache:

That is a bummer. Hopefully, it is one you can replace. I share a love of Disney ornaments and need more myself. I am not even putting up our tree until we get back from Disney, because I want to bunch of new Disney ornaments. It will be easier to decorate all at once.

At leasy use them through New Years week. ;)

Agreed. We usually take them down around the 2nd to the 4th. DH was so busy last year that he complained when I asked him to put them up. I really did not think he would want to this year. He says he does though; I just asked him.

Sadly, unless Queenie picks me up a tinkerbell decoration in the US, I'm not going to be able to replace her here.

Have a good time down there. I'll be looking forward to a complete report.

Are they keeping the kids for social assistance money?
EU is really messing up some countries.

Do you have a picture or a description? Is it on the Disneystore.com in the park merchandise section?
I do PLAN to go to the christmas store in DTD but I can't guarantee anything. But I can try

Queenie - Did you get your boston accommodation sorted?
Yeah I think so...

lol...I'll try. I need to try and write notes at the end of a day but I'll see...

As for the kids...yep...why work when you can just get social assistance...
Same attitude caused the riots

I'm planning on taking some pictures of the tree later. I want to try some long exposure shots and hopefully get some twinkles happening in my lights. We'll see.

I'll try to remember to get a picture of Tink.

I'm hoping there is a decent range of ornaments on the ship. I've never EVER bought much. But I definitely want to look more this time at Christmas stuff.

I'll definitely try for you

That's too bad. You should move to somewhere more shopper friendly.

Yeah....like near the San Andreas fault! :lmao:

Thanks! Much appreciated and don't worry if you don't find it.

My tree is mostly all about musical decorations.

One of her wings broke. She's holding a little gold 'lantern' thing....so I've put her on the side with the intact wing showing. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I can stick the wing back on....but I might get some superglue if I remember and give it a go.

completely off 'topic' (do we have topics here? :lmao: )

But this is funny...

Musical decorations? cool!
We have lots of decorations from when we were growing up still. So we just keep using them. Don't really buy much anymore.

Although.....we collect hallmark ornaments. They just don't go on the tree. They go in the glass cabinet ;)

Now that's going to be stuck in my head! :lmao:

Yes. I have all sorts of musical instruments and musical things like quavers, semiquavers, treble clefs, scrolls etc. Been collecting for quite a while now.

I realised today that I need some major pieces to pull it all together. I might see if I can find some red berry sprays to add to the tree....possibly after Christmas, if they are on sale.

Over the years, I've gotten them everywhere! Some years, I've seen a whole stack in Target...other years, they were at specialty Christmas House shops.
I've also gotten them when I travel.

Musical instruments are fairly readily available. The trick is to buy them when you see them rather than waiting. I've managed to snag about 3 grand pianos over the year! Sadly, they are way too small for me. :rotfl:

Nice hallmarks. Are you going to add to them this year?
