I have not turned any pages yet, but I cannot go to WDW in early October 2013 anyway, since we are going in late October that year.

Facebook is even more addicting than the DIS. Every time I try to log off, I get an update that someone I have not spoken to in years wants to be friends. It is scary how Facebook knows who I "may" know.

My mom wanted Carson to win, and I was rooting for Chaz, Carson, AND David, but David was the last one of those three still there :lmao: Do you mean the veteran guy, JR? I really like him, but I tend to go for the underdogs. I really think it's going to be Ricki, JR, and Rob in the final three.

I'm not sure who Rob is, but I can't believe how much weight Riki Lake lost!

We dont have cable, dish or anything else. We use roku, and different types of streaming.

Wow! I don't know how you folks keep entertained. If we didn't have TV with premium channels, I'm not sure what we would do! Other than DIS!

Eventually it wears off. I joined about three years ago, so there aren't all that many people who I haven't checked out their info page. Now I'm adding DIS friends as most of my HS and College friends are already on there. Occasionally someone new joins, but often times I don't remember them from HS as it was so long ago.

I'm getting to know all the ladies on the WFD thread through FB now.

I don't know how much I used a month, but I have 2 gigs and I don't think I've gone over that. Fran has unlimited because she got in while they were still offering that when she got her phone.

I have 1 gB included in my phone plan. I rarely use it....but then I'm not a big data user on my iphone.

`

Whenever you connect to wifi, it does not use any of your data. I use wifi at my house and many places I go to for my son like Child's Play (free wifi). Since I rarely use the 3g, I never use very much data.

That said, I have been on a Blackberry for years, so I am grandfathered in to an unlimited plan. My sister is on Sprint which now accepts the iPhone. She said it offers unlimited everything for $79.99.

Thanks for the input everyone. Usnuz too.

I'm not sure how much I will use. Partially because here wifi isn't common. I mean it's in my house, and friends houses usually. I was thinking of a friend who was using his blackberry as we drove through areas were for 10 miles here and there there isn't even phone service.

My sister used a small amount but is thinking it may change if she modernizes her phone.

I may need to see how it goes for a month and then see if I need to raise the limit.

I'm not sure I watch any different amount of time if I had a few channels or hundreds.

As evidence, I could be sitting downstairs watching tv on the cable box and using my laptop. But I'm on my PC with a quarter of the channels. Of course it lets me DVR things.

I tell you whats on my FB my SIL needs to announce everywhere she is. She just got back from Hawaii. And then was at some carpet club.:confused3 What ever the heck that is. I use it for news. I watch all kinds of things. Law and order. Movies, tv shows.

I can understand when people share where they are when on vacation, but when in thier normal area, pffft. That's what foursquare or twitter is for. Of course they wanted their stuff on FB. And now FB has the subscription option now and that is sure to replace twitter.

I worry a lot about how FB uses the information it gathers.

So whilst I miss out of conversation, I kinda feel that I'm better off remaining relatively anonymous.

Maybe, but it's better than using google or or and iphone or droid phone.

You'd be surprised at how convenient it is to DIS on the phone. I often find myself in the bedroom before I get out to the computer checking in on posts, now that I have that ability. Also when we're driving while we're listening to a Book on CD, I'm also checking the DIS on my phone to see what's up.

I feel like I'm missing out on conversation! :sad2:

You're not missing much, but Nancy doesn't know how to post on the DIS on her phone so she's PMing me on FB and commenting on my posts. I also saw pics of Jen and her wife for their wedding that she didn't post on the DIS plus the whole incident with Nan and the dumptruck.

Maybe but FB is mostly worthless chatter.

Mostly yes.

You can not post anything of relevance. I've found that since FB has become so intrusive I don't say much of value on there, but I can keep up with some people I otherwise would not know what is going on with other than FB. They are not people I would keep up with in my normal life, but people from my past that I'm glad I sort of keep up with.

It's also fun to follow people like Deb at allears and other Disney friends without having to sign up for Twitter which I find totally useless!
