On our checkout day, not going into parks is there any ala carte breakfast places you recommend? Good value would be great. So in Dowtown Disney or the hotels?
We ate breakfast at Earl of Sandwich a couple of days when we were there last week. The bacon, egg, cheddar breakfast sandwich and the oatmeal were both very good! If you want Mickey Waffles you can get them at Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel (where we had them) or I believe Whitewater Snacks at the Grand Californian also has them.
Whitewater snack and Tangaroa Terrace as mentioned above are the best for lower cost (nothing passes for low cost in Disney) and quick. If something on the menu isn't exactly what you want, you can still order the items you want - they are very good with off menu requests if they have the items there.
Earl of Sandwich in DTD is great, particularly since you are looking for a value. Our favorite breakfast in DTD is at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen Express. We love to get a bag of beignets with coffee to share.
