We are staying at the RPR for two weeks but $17ish for their buffet breakfast is a bit expensive for 5 of us every day, so we are looking for cheaper options around Universal.

Which restaurants at the parks and Citiwalk are open for breakfast? Do Pastamore still do breakfast? (We ate there a couple of years ago...not great, but very cheap!)

Any ideas welcome! :thumbsup2

Wopper Bar in Citywalk (aka Burger King) serves the normal BK breakfast.

At the Studios....the Beverly Hills Boulangerie is open for breakfast...at IOA...Croissant Moon Bakery is open and of course at CityWalk....Cinnebon, Pastamore and BK Bar.

And all very good eats to boot.Prices are very good, alot cheaper then the buffet. Also the Orchid Lounge at RPR offers a continetal breakfast. Not free mind you.

Thanks. Some good alternatives there.

Where is Burger King? I don't remember seeing it anywhere in Citywalk.

I agree that $17 is expensive but we tried it this past june and you do get alot for your money and a big plus for that is the omlet station where you can get what ever you want in it and the fact you can go back as many times as you want :thumbsup2

AAA and/or AP will give you a 10% discount on the hotel restaurants.

cinnabon is another choice for breakfast.
others mentioned places in p.o.e. and the studio side which all are great!

you could always do a grocery stop prior to coming to the UO hotel and pick up breakfast options that do not need to be heated or cooked.

i live on doughnuts so what do i know......

but i do spring for the rph buffet for half of my stay there.
