Don't worry, I'm not looking to have cheesecake for breakfast - although it sounds like a good idea;) I seem to remember reading about a restaurant where you can sit outside and watch animals roaming around. Could someone help me out with which restaurant this is.

Secondly, other than the one at Disney Quest, is there a Cheesecake Factory restaurant anywhere in WDW??? If so, is this the same restaurant we enjoyed in Las Vegas and Beverly Hills?

Boma at AKL has a breakfast buffet. You can't see the animals from the restaurant, but there are viewing areas at the lodge for animal viewing. This is what you are probably thinking about. I have not had the breakfast at Boma (had dinner there twice), but will try it in December.

Cheesecake Factory is a chain. I don't know how many there are, but I know for sure that there is on at Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

I forgot to add that the only Cheesecake Factory in WDW is at Disney Quest. There aren't any others on property.

I don't know the answer to your question, I just wanted to thank you for putting the words 'breakfast' and 'cheesecake' in the same sentence. :teeth:

Seems to me it would either have to be at AKL or AK if there are animals roaming around. I'm not sure if Mara has outside seating, or if you might be able to see the animals from the poolside bar. I can't think of a place in AK that has animal viewing from a restaurant, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.

Thanks for the replies! Krissalee - do you know if we can eat at the cheesecake factory in Disney Quest without actually paying to go to Disney Quest?? I think I probably know the answer to that but I thought I'd check.

Unfortunatly you do have to pay admission to DQ to eat at Cheesecake factory.

also, from what i remember it is only a cheesecake factory express and was counter service. i could be wrong, but it is nothing like the chain restaurants that i have been to.

here's a link to the locations i found on their website. there are several in florida and a few in or near orlando.

Oops, had to change this. There IS a Cheesecake Factory that just opened in Orlando. Depending on the success of that one, maybe they will open one in WDW.

Cheesecake Factory express, much like Grand Lux Cafe (a new restaurant theme they also own), serves the 6-8 most popular cheesecakes from the Cheesecake Factory. If you're really interested to know which flavors exactly, I can ask my boyfriend who has worked there for quite a few years. I know white chocolate chunk macademia and white chocolate raspberry truffle are both definitely on that list. The menu is QUITE extensive and CFE is just the tip of the iceberg. It is nothing like the one you visited in Vegas. The Orlando location should be similar to the Vegas one, but they usually try to design the restaurants a little differently.

Of course you could do it the easy way... get someone you know to work there...they get free cheesecakes at X-mas.... :p

I thought I read somewhere on the Boards that Disneyquest would give you a 30-min "pass" if you just wanted to eat at the Ch. Factory??

Maybe they stopped this??
