Breakfast to Lunch Buffet switch?

We would like to get up and do rope drop and then eat breakfast once the crowds start picking up. I am thinking about making breakfast buffet ARDs at Tusker House and Crystal Palace for the latest slot possible. I have some questions....

1. If I make a reservation for breakfast during the latest slot will they switch the buffet over to lunch while we are there?
2. If they do switch over to lunch will we pay breakfast or lunch price?

I just noticed that there isn't much time between breakfast and lunch and wondered how that works.

It is my understanding that they will start switching over at whatever the preset time for the start of lunch is. I have also heard if there is something you want from breakfast that has already been removed from the bar you can specifically request it.

You pay for whichever meal you book regardless of what time you get finished is what the CM told me when I book late breakfasts. Haven't actually done any of them so can't say for sure.

I do know last year we had one of the last lunch ADRs (at a non-buffet) and we still paid lunch price even though they were already serving dinner when we left.
