I have ADRs for 7:45 breakfast at Chef Mickey's and also 5:45 dinner. I'm trying to decide which one to keep. Breakfast is early for everyone to get up on vacation, but with the dinner reservation, we will lose a couple of hours at the parks. Which food and experience is better?

We have done both, the character interaction at both was great but the food at dinner was horrible...breakfast was excellent

Love breakfast and dinner here. This is our family's favorite place to eat. If I had to pick bk over dinner. No ? it would be dinner. We love the food and the fun here.:worship::worship:
THE MASHED POTATOES R THE BEST :thumbsup2

We thought the food at dinner wasn't very good. If we were to do CM again it would most definitely be breakfast!

Been several times for both breakfast and dinner. As previous posters have stated, we agree that the food at breakfast is better.

Having done both, I'd say stick with breakfast. The food and characters are great, and it's an awesome beginning to a day at Disney. :thumbsup2

We had photos and were seated promptly for a 6:35PM ADR and the food was plentiful. But unlike pp we thought the food at dinner was absolutely disgusting. Maybe it was a bad night or something, but the meat was all dry and basically like shoe-leather, the soups and sauces were all congealed, the sauce on the ravioli was so spiced it was unappetizing and a few of the dishes just didn't register as recognizable. The fruits and veggies from the salad bar looked okay but they weren't that fresh. The ice-cream wasn't solid and the other desserts were stale. It was the one meal where we all got back to the room and were still hungry - luckily we had leftover desserts from a QS meal.

In addition, our waiter was rushed and rude - he took my son's plate without asking if we were done with it - he never even looked to see the pizza was in my son's hand. I have photos with the waiter in the background and he just looks thoroughly disgruntled with the whole thing.

And maybe it's because my kid's are older but the only characters that remotely interacted with my kids were Goofy and Donald. Mickey, Minnie & Pluto all did fly-bys I felt luck I got their photos.

Would I try breakfast there - yes. Dinner - never again.

We have been to both and I would do breakfast. The breakfast food was pretty good. The food at dinner was bad...real bad!

Thanks. I'll cancel the dinner right now...if anyone still wants dinner there after reading these posts, it's available.
