Breakfast Near Epcot or Can We Make it to Kona?

I am thinking that the morning of our last day, I am going to sign our kids up for the pirate cruise at the Yacht Club Marine. The Cruise is advertised from 9:30-11:30 am. My husband and I would like to go out to breakfast at this time. I would prefer to go to Konas. How long would it take me to get from the Yacht Club to Konas. I have no idea what to to make ressies for and if we could make it back by 11:30.

I would welcome any suggestions for a great breakfast closer to the Yacht Club as well.

kouzzini is supposed to be a good breakfast- but i have not been. To me, i'm a bit anal about the kids and pick up times and i would worry by the time i got the kids ont heir cruise, got in the car (*assuming you have one), drove to kona and had bfast - it would be a tight squeeze. However, if you have your heart set on kona, how about doing the pirate cruise for the kids out of the poly instead- i believe they used to have a landing there.

We had a nice b/fast at Captin's Grill in YC.

You can also walk into Epcot. It's abt a 10 minute walk to the Intl Gateway.

Although we do not have kids, we have had our nephew on a Pirate Cruise, and we thought Kouzzina had a great breakfast. Even though he was older I didn't feel comfortable being too far from the Yacht Club. But hey, I am just the aunt, and his mom would kill me if we had lost him...lol! I do agree with the previous poster, if you really want Kona(the breakfast there is awesome!) then see if there is a cruise at the Poly docks.
