Breakfast near Bay Lake Tower-not character

I have way too many character meals scheduled for our upcoming trip and I'm getting concerned about my DS's reaction to characters so I want to cut out a few character meals. Most of them are for breakfast and most are buffets. I would like to cut out the buffets as much as possible. Any suggestions of good breakfasts near BLT. On the monorail or in the parks...or even DTD? We have a variety of days planned at all the parks and DTD.
We already have Ohana for two meals (we're on DxDDP), The Wave, Chef Mickey's, WCC for lunch, Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast, LTT for lunch.

I especially need something to replace Hollywood and Vine breakfast and 1900 Park Fare breakfast.

I'm cutting HW&V b/c neither of our kids are huge Oso or Handy Manny fans...Mickey is their and they have no clue who Alice in Wonderland is and DD really doesn't care at this point.

Not on the Monorail but close, is the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge.

There are no characters except for the servers. During the meal there are various "antics" that happen but nothing major. But more than just a sit down.

Just so you know for at least our meal it appears to be a little bit toned down for breakfast.

The Wave at the Contemporary
Grand Floridian Cafe (VERY good)
Whispering Canyon Cafe (also VERY good)
Kona Cafe

Those are the ones I can think of and we would recommend either GFCafe or Whispering Canyon we LOVED both

I agree with all of this. Since you're already going to the Grand Floridian Café, I recommend Kona.

Thanks for all the votes for Kona. We may have to add it back in. We've eaten there both of our last two trips, wasn't sure if I should add it back in. WCC sounds like a great breakfast place too...we've only done dinner there.

Other than the ones already posted, you mentioned DTD~ Wolfgang Puck Express in the Marketplace has really good breakfasts!

Kona is good, if you want counter service try Captain Cooks. We just had breakfast this week at The Wave. We ate the buffet. It was extremely good. WCC is a good breakfast also.

We are going to try the Whispering Canyon on our check out day to replace the Crystal Palace (once I found out how much breakfast would cost us OOP for a family of 6 adults I needed to find an alternative.

NOTE: This is a new location for a breakfast buffet. The
buffet has significantly increased its variety, and now is
very much worth the visit. At just under $20 per adult, it
is extremely reasonable for a WDW buffet. For breakfast, it
is probably the best-kept dining secret. It has Mickey
waffles and delicious sweet potato pancakes. They use
local fresh fruit and vegetables. For those with a smaller
appetite, one can do the usual ala carte breakfast menu.
