I was wondering how easy it is to get breakfast in the parks? We are not big breakfast people so stuff like muffins would be just fine with us. I know that Magic Kingdom has the Main Street Bakery, but what about the other parks? Are the restaurants and counter service open in the World Showcase before World Showcase opens? We are staying at AKL so should we just pick something up from Mara? I am soooo excited that we are leaving Saturday for Disney! We have decided to leave 12 hours earlier than my counter says and take our time driving. I still have nightmares about being in the car almost nonstop for 18 hours when my parents and I would go to Florida.

Thanks,

I would say, unless you're going to MK (the bakery is so close to the entrance) grab something to go from your hotel. World Showcase food places do not open until the WS open (aside from the character breakfast). There are a couple places in Future World that will be open (electric umbrella, fountainview cafe). MGM no idea? AK rainforest but that's not going to be a quick bite...

Actually, you can get lite breakfast fare at most places. In AK, the Tusker House serves all kinds of baked goodies. At MGM and Epcot, I think I remember muffins and such being available. Oh yeah, in Epcot there is a bakery type place not too far inside the park. If you are walking toward the lagoon away from Spaceship Earth it's on the right hand side. I know that they had croissants and cakes (it's vacation, cake IS a legitimate breakfast food!).

Have a wonderful vacation!

Erin :D

There is no better way to start the day at Epcot than with a chocolate croissant at the Fountainview Cafe. :D You can also get lite breakfast items at Starring Rolls at MGM.

There used to be a cart on Main Street with really good cinnamon rolls - don't know if it is still there. Another good option is a piece of fruit, which is available at many places as you walk around.

We like to hit the parks ready to enjoy before they are packed.

We get our muffins, juice and fruit the night before or someone goes down early to get. Every one is to eat while they are waiting to shower or have finished showering. No wasting time sitting while others dress.

By time everyone is dressed and ready, we have already eaten and are ready to go and enjoy the parks!!!

I would rather sit to eat later in the day when the parks are busier and we are waiting on our fast pass time or something.

HAVE A SUPER TRIP !

The cinnamon rolls at the Tusker House in AK are incredible!!

There are also various carts to get juice or fruit.

Yes there are places but I don't want to have to walk too far before I get my coffee and food :D
