Have you had Cinderella's Breakfast in the Castle?

Some friends of mine just got back and said that it is a must!
We will be going to WDW in October/November and will be there for 21 days. I know PS is a must and how difficult they are to get. I am hoping that we will be able to get PS for one of our days. My daughter will be almost 3 and I think she will love it (so will we).

I'm just curious to hear your experiences with the breakfast.
Anyone have any pics to share?

we went, and we did have a very nice time, but it wasn't quite as amazing as it has been built up to be. I think we had more fun at Crystal Palace with Pooh Bear etc, who were much more relevant to my 3 year old than the princesses.

It is very very hard to get a reservation, so while I would try, I wouldn't be devastated if you can't get one. The nicest bit was meeting the Fairy Godmother in the lobby - she was really lovely with all the kids. The Princesses were very friendly but it was busy so they didn't have a lot of time with each child.

There is a whole thread on the restaurant board about Cinderella's Royal Table....lots of reading but plenty of tips.

We did it in May and loved it.

I thought CRT was magical. We had 5 little girls in our party and watching them was so much fun. The princesses are so sweet - took time to sign autographs, pose for pictures, hugs, and chats.

I programmed my cell phone and followed hints on the CRT thread. Got through the first day I tried - much to my surprise. Everyone's taste and expectations are different, but we thought it was worth every penny.

We took our 2 1/2 DD two years ago, along with my nieces who were 5 and 8. It was truly magical! My DD assumes we will eat there in Nov.- I pray we get the ressie! She really LOVED it- the princesses were so nice and really took up a lot of time with her! Cinderella even got on the floor and let her sit on her lap to talk with her! They all made a big deal over her like she was so special and a princess too. I think if you have a DD who is remotely interested in the princesses- it is a great experience! Remember, if you don't get it, try the breakfast in Epcot- that is our back up plan!
PS- Even though DD was only 2 1/2, that is the main thing she remembers from the trip!

We have done it three times and are scheduled for out 4th in a few weeks. My girls absolutely love it. The food is just ok, but the atmosphere is amazing.

I'm also hoping to get a PS for this during our upcoming trip. We did the Epcot Storybook breakfast and it was GREAT (interaction and food). But I agree with tink2- it really depends on whether you're going because your child would be thrilled to see Cinderella/etc or if you are going just for the food/etc. I couldn't care less if the food was a stale piece of toast. LOL We're definitely not going for fine dining... we are hoping to do it simply for the thrill it will give my children ESPECIALLY my Cinderella obsessed toddler daughter. :)

I'm not going to mention it to my daughter until I am sure that I have the reservations. I have to start calling the end of August. I hope we get in...she'll love it. I have never been in the castle and I'm looking forward to that, too.

My daughter is obsessed with Snow White. Is she usually at Cinderella's breakfast?

we saw Snow White, and my dd was wearing her Snow White dress, so SW made a big fuss of her, and called her little Snow White, it was one of the highlights of the meal :-) I don't know if she is guaranteed to be there though.

Please don't misunderstand me, we had a lovely time, and I'm really glad we went, the characters were all charming, although they seemed a little hurried, and it was a pretty magical experience. But I have seen people get so upset if they can't get this PS, and if I was truly being honest, I think my dd prefered Crystal Palace. Until we started visiting Disney, my dd wasn't that familiar with the Princesses, but she has known Pooh and friends her whole life.

For me, I loved seeing the inside of the castle, but I think next time we will book for lunch, and let some other little girls have breakfast with Cindy.

We did it last December and I wouldnt trade the pics I have of my DD 3 and my DS 12, for anything in the world!! If your lucky enough to get it youve got to try it once.

The April before that I couldnt get PS for breakfast so we went for lunch. The experience was great and guess what, Cindy and The Godmother made a surprise visit to the dinningroom!! So consider lunch if you cant have breakfast.

Id also like to add that we took DS 12 to 1900 Park Faire for his BD breakfast, this is now on our favorite list. We were with another family, and all 10 of us loved it. The food is fantastic! The Mad Hatter and Alice were there, so was Pooh and Mary Poppins. It was great!!

PS. Dont feel to bad if you dont get to Cindys for breakfast, we had PS for the Epcot Princess breakfast and DD 3 was dressed as Belle, It was raining absolute cats and dogs like you wouldnt believe, we had to cancel:( I was so disappointed. That was the ONLY day it rained that week.

Good luck trying though

We did this breakfast and it was one of the highlights of our trip! My girls were 3 and 5 at the time and they were in such awe. My older daughter loved Jasmine and dressed just like here. The younger dressed as Snow White. All the princesses said "I didn't know Jasmine had a younger sister!" They were so sweet to the girls and spent time with them. Snow White even had a special conversation with my youngest daughter - I have no idea what she said to her - my husband videotaped it! Snow White was speaking very softly to my daughter and the whole time my daughter was enraptured. It is really cute to watch the video. The funny part is that most of the princesses said "I want you to make sure you eat all of your breakfast!" And the girls did exactly as they were told even though they were too excited and in awe!

I hope your kids love this - I made my reservations in advance. I called the first thing in the morning the very day I was allowed to and had no problems. I live in CST zone and I think I had to set my alarm to get up early and call right at 6 a.m. We had no problems getting the reservation. Good luck!

I can e mail you some pics if you like. My favorite is of my teenager DS sitting in the FGM's lap. OH so funny.

We had a wonderful time. As a group of 8 were were seated at 2 tables right next to eachother. One talbe held all adults DH, myself, DSi and her DFi. We expected to be ignorred by the characters but had plenty of interaction. At the other table was my 2 kids, my niece and my mom.
We really enjoyed the food too. The food gets bad reviews but we all found it tasty and fresh

Wow! Went in May - my DD's, 7 and 9, were so excited the day I got the PS. My husband (who had been acting like this trip would be nothing less than a chore) insisted on being the one to wake them up with the good news!!

We thought it was every bit as wonderful as we had imagined - the castle is so pretty and they treat you like royalty. The food is nothing special (although I liked the adult french toast!) but who cares???

My girls were "too old" to dress up in their princess dresses - which they DO own - but they were a little jealous of all the "little" princesses at the castle, so do dress your DD if she likes that sort of thing.

We have every intention of enjoying the breakfast again in 2005. I don't think you'll have a problem getting the reservation - especially with the length of your stay. Just follow the great advice on the boards...HAVE FUN!!

I am really excited thinking about it!

Did you dress your girls in princess gowns?

If I had thought about it more, I would have got a princess dress for her to wear for MNSSHP, but we got her a tinkerbell outfit. That way she could wear it for Halloween, MNSSHP and breakfast in the castle...oh well.

I think tinkerbell would be great for breakfast in the castle! The princesses will all make a big fuss of her no matter what she is wearing.

Bev

if you can't get a reservation and you want to see the princess do not make reservations at CRT for lunch or dinner because she doesn't appear at lunch or dinner. Which we made the mistake of doing! Try story book breakfast Cinderella will not appear but many others.

Do let her wear her Tinkerbell dress - I saw several on our visit. I have also heard that Peter Pan takes his turn at breakfast on occasion - wouldn't that be cool!!! Mary Poppins was our personal favorite - she even kept her toes pointed out the WHOLE morning and believe me, my girls were watching!!!!
