breakfast for non park day

I have one day where i will just get up late and go to TL for short time but looking for a nice breakfast before .Any suggestions- i read that Kona is pretty good . I am using the premuim plan so i could do a buffet to.

It's been years since I've been there, but Kona was wonderful when we went (in the late '90s). Most times we have breakfast in our rooms to save time, but if you're not on a schedule, maybe you can schedule a special character breakfast...the food ain't nothin' to write home about, but the event is fun.

Boma for breakfast is really nice also. I love the frunch and bobotie(SP) lots of choices and a great chance to spend time at animal kingdom lodge you can do some animal viewing before or after breakfast.

Thanks for the suggestions .I did also take a look at the Boma menu to. a charcater meal would be nice but i already have 1900 park fare for dinner planned the night before. Looks like boma or kona.

Kona and Boma are great.
Other possibilities:
Buffet at Maya Grill or Fresh
Table service breakfast at Boatwrights

One of our new favorites is FRESH at the Dolphin resort. We also enjoy breakfast at KONA CAFE on each trip.

Is it easy to get to Fresh from the Pop ? Maybe i can take a taxi there.
Kona would be monorail ride which is pretty easy. Boma i can get there by taxi for sure as i will be going to Jiko earlier in the week .

We really like Spoodles for breakfast. They have a skillet type dish with a lot of variety or other a la carte options.

Unless I'm mis-reading, Disneytraveler, how is Kona a monorail ride from Pop????? Doesn't work.

I meant going short bus ride to monorail then to Poly for Kona.

We did the character breakfast at 'Ohana on our water park day. It was great to just get on the Poly bus going to Blizzard Beach! Or, in your case TL.
