Are spaghetti-os considered breakfast food?

How about Polish Sausage?

And leftover meatloaf?

What about pork chops?

Why does my family do this to me?

At my house, anything you eat at breakfast time, or whatever you call breakfast time, is a breakfast food. As long as the sweetpea isn't eating ice cream, cake or candy, I'm pretty ok with it. Well, unless its a special day, then those things go. Yes, I have given her cake for breakfast. And surprise, she's healthy.

I agree, they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. As long as it isn't full of sugar it works for me!

We have anythng goes too... a la Bill Cosby's
"Dad is Great. Gives us chocolate cake"

I just personally can't eat like that in the am though

PB&J is a great breakfast food. So is Chicken Noodle Soup! :goodvibes

I've been known to eat tuna for breakfast and I will never turn down cold pizza :teeth:

my stomach does not have a clock :lmao:
i like pasta for breakfast and pancakes for dinner :confused3

Any food is breakfast food just like any food is lunch food and any food is dinner food.

Food is food and your body doesn't go "oh, it's 8am" when you give it cereal or think it's 6pm when you have pizza for breakfast.

I love stuff like leftover spaghetti or pizza for breakfast, the other day I had leftover scalloped potatoes and ham for breakfast.

I also like scrambled eggs and bacon, or French toast, or pancakes and sausage for dinner too!!

I'm not one to think certain foods are for certain meals.

My stomach doesn't have an alarm clock either. The only thing I will NOT eat for breakfast is coleslaw. For some reason, coleslaw on an empty stomach gives me heartburn.

But I've eaten loads of strange things for breakfast, including chicken salad. My mom used to have a neighbor who worked for a catering company and she'd bring us left over food from parties, etc. I don't remember the name of the company, but they had the BEST chicken salad. :)

Funny you should post this - I rarely eat any typical "American breakfast foods". Everyone at work teases me because I have things like roast beef sandwiches, spaghettios, salads, soup, or sushi for breakfast! Once in a blue moon I'll eat cereal or eggs or something like that.

My brothers and I used to have soup, grilled cheese, TV dinners, mac & cheese etc for breakfast as kids. We didn't like cereal much and my mom wouldn't let us go w/o something.

That's funny I love cold KFC chicken and cole slaw for breakfast.

I don't like any breakfast foods, or any pastry things either. I do love a nice juicy hamburger for breakfast. DS thinking he was being a wise guy asked for one for breakfast. I not only made him one but myself too! He was a bit :confused3 But food is food in my book! My mother used to whip me up a quick burger before school and give me a cup of coffee. I grew up fine and healthy.
