My daughter wants to go back to Crystal Palace and see Pooh, which I did not expect since she is now almost 10! We ate there for dinner 3 yrs ago and I remember the food not being very good. I was planning Donald safari breakfast for our character breakfast next March, but am now thinking about Crystal Palace for breakfast instead. Any thoughts or advice?

If your daughter wants to see POOH then allow her to see him,Crystal Palace has a great breakfast, but if you want 2 change up things try 1900 Park Fare's breakfast I Think you can find POOH there good luck!

We just went to Crystal Palace or breakfast on September 7th and thought it was fantastic! I had been for lunch and dinner and loved it but this was the first time for breakfast and I wasn't disappointed. The corned beef hash was amazing and there was this veggie frittata that blew me away. Plus the character interaction was a lot of fun.

We do have reservations for the Tusker House breakfast in early November so I'll let you know how they compare :)

I ate at both last week and both have thier good points... CP has puffed french toast which was excellent and a good selection of breakfast faire. I did however enjoy Tusker house more, more selection and food was overall better. Loved the harambe juice as well. But overall if your daughter wants to see Pooh Crystal palace is just fine.

we went to both restaurants last January and have reservations for breakfast at both restaurants in two weeks - and this is for four adults. The food is different at each -both are good tho..Nothing beats walking up an empty Main St in the Magic Kingdom on the way to the CP - breakfast is magical there. Tusker House offers a menu which very closely resembles Boma. The Jungle Juice is great! They also both have great character interaction - CP had a parade through the forest with children waving their napkins as they march around the room with Pooh and friends. Daisy and her friends have all the kids up dancing and playing rhythm instruments. We can't pick who we would rather have breakfast with, so we choose both. I don't think I was much help on deciding.....

I say make your DD happy and visit with Pooh.

I would choose CP or 1900PF. We love them both.

CP was always our favorite, but last trip we tried 1900PF becasue DD also loves Alice and in Wonderland. 1900PF is our new favorite because it has 2 Pooh characters, Alice, The Mad Hater, and Mary Poppins, along with better omlets to order :thumbsup2

The Crystal Palace breakfast is great. We had an 8:05 reservation and we have some amazing pictures of our family on Main St with no one between us and the castle. For that alone, it was worth it. The breakfast food was great. Our kids probably ate their weight in Winnie-the-Pooh shaped sugar coated doughnuts. My husband, who happens to be a pickier eater than our children, made multiple trips through the buffet line. We had a great time and will eat there again next trip to WDW.

We ate at both places about 2 weeks ago. IMO, it's not even close: Crystal Palace!! Crystal Palace is a nice, open restaurant with a fun environment. The character interaction is very good. There is a very nice selection in the breakfast buffet & it is the ONLY breakfast with puffed french toast, which in & of itself is worth going for. Plus, if you can get an early adr on a non-emh day then you can walk down an empty main street, which makes for good pics.

The food at Tusker House is good - it's a standard breakfast buffet. The seating at Tusker House is a bit cramped. First, Tusker House has separate rooms for dining - the room we were in was rather small and crammed full of tables. Also the character interaction was quite poor - Donald Duck practically breezed by our table - I think we got a whopping 15 seconds with him. Overall I would describe the experience at Tusker House as noisy, cramped & rushed.

We did both last December, and actually did CP twice. We by far enjoyed the selection at TH better than CP...the only thing we missed at TH was the puffed french toast they have at CP. However, we liked the convenience of CP at MK and we were able to get a reservation before the park opened and that was very memorable!

Seconding the posters who mention CP before park opening. We were able to get in early, get great pictures, and then finish before rope drop. We walked right up to the rope in Fantasyland (of course you could pick other ropes) and then had our first pick of rides. It was heaven!

CP is a great experience before the park opens. You'll feel like a real VIP.

I would def recommend doing CP. There is nothing like getting into the park before its opening. A nearly empty mainstreet is amazing. Breakfast was good and the character interaction was great. the kids loved it.
