Hi all,
I'm truly overthinking everything I think, as I have spent HOURS upon HOURS of planning our WDW vac. Including WWW time AND guidebook time. Trip is Nov 15-22.

We purchased 2 adult and 1 child breakfast vouchers from hotwire and are awaiting them. Meanwhile, I'm trying to decide where to eat with this.

Would like to do a Character breakfast. Also know that DH will be happiest with a buffet. Son is 4 years old.

Likes Pooh & his buddies so doing Crystal palace for breakfast is a possibility, but I've read that food isn't that great.

Don't think CRT would be the place, since, well, he's a BOY and not really into princesses (although he's not old enough yet to be turned off by the experience.) Although the character ratio is good.

Our reservation guy from Disney suggested the breakfastosaurus, but so many reviews say you get very little character time.

So, I'm thinking......Perhaps we go to a non character buffet for breakfast, then go to the ice cream social so he can have the character interaction. Problem? Best non character buffet (if there is such a thing) to use the vouchers with.

Help anyone?

My family really enjoy Breakfastasourus and thought the characters were fine. You could try Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary, or Cape Mayat the Beach Club for a buffet breakfast outside the parks. There is also a character meal at Ohanas in the Polynesian and is all you can eat. Have fun!

I have a 4 year old son and we have PS for Chef Mickeys during our Nov visit. I think on Sunday the 14th. I decided on that one for 2 reasons, 1 we are staying at the CR so will be easy. But the biggest reason is that Mickey is his fav char so I know he will love it, plus most of the postings here say Chef Mickeys is the best!

we really enjoyed our breakfasts at donald's breakfastasauras and did not have any problem w/an ample amount of character interaction... they came around more than once and "visited," signed autographs, posed for pics, etc... (okay, one problem... the family two tables over screaming - mom/dad/g'ma worse than the kids - the chars names over and over and over and over and over every time they walked in the room... kinda ruined it for others... ironically as soon as the char walked over to their table their small child just started wailing and would not stop 'til the char was gone... but as soon as the next one entered the room, the name screaming would start anew... finally their waiter told them to knock it off, very nicely of course!)

another breakfast we all enjoyed, while it's not buffet, it is all-you-care-to-eat, was o'hana... they have the little parade w/the kids and chars which was great fun... again, excellent interaction...

I say go with the Winnie the Pooh breakfast at the Crystal Palace. We have done it twice. I have never had a problem with the food. It has alway been very flavorful and hot. Also the character interaction has always been fantastic. (The only reason we are not doing it this trip is we already have two character breakfasts planned for our short three day stay.)

We've enjoyed Donald's, Chef Mickeys and CP. Our experience with each was very good. Good food and character interaction and our family does not include any small children. They still visited our table for autographs/photos and cut up with everyone. I do recommend that you decide soon so that you can get PS. Which ever you choose, I hope you enjoy it and have a wonderful trip!

Donalds and Crystal Palace are must do for us. We've always had great food, service and character interaction at both. We will never set foot in CM's again. Our dinner experience there was horrible. Food, service and character interaction were all very very bad.

The Ohana breakfast was great!
If you decide to do non characters I would choose Whispering Canyon. You can do either all you can eat or order off the menu.

Cheryl
