breakfast before AK, where would you go?

Still working on my dining plan, lol.

For most of my days I am planning a character breakfast and then a nice TS dinner. On AK day I am not sure what to do about breakfast though. I am planning TH with RoL package for dinner earlier in the week but TH is not completely off the table.

We could do Boma. Or we could do another character meal somewhere else... will have a car... but I pretty much have all of the character meals planned that I care to (garden grill breakfast, crystal palace breakfast, ohana breakfast, hollywood and vine holiday dine fantasmic package dinner, tusker house dinner hoping for RoL package).... or

what would you do if you had a car for breakfast before going to AK? We are going to 2/3 of the day there before going back to MK for an early BoG dinner (I hope!) and MVMCP. since it is a late night and our second AK day we are not rushing to get there at rope drop or anything.

Before I even read your whole question I was thinking Boma. After reading it I think its still the right choice. Always quality (in my opinion) Plus its a great location if you're going to DAK that day anyway. You seem to have a pretty great trip planned out! Don't forget to visit us at the haunted mansion!

I was going to say, based on other details you've posted about your son's dining preferences, Rainforest Cafe might be a legitimate option for you.

We ate breakfast at Rainforest Cafe a couple years ago at the park entrance and it was surprisingly good for a chain restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast there. I would say the 2 top contenders for your list would be either Rainforest Cafe or Boma (since you are already eating at TH)

The kiddo has weighed in - he had Boma dinner with his dad when he was there with him and would REALLY like to try the breakfast. The prince has spoken! Who knew he could be so opinionated!

I have to say I'm happy he wants to do Boma... I have carefully selected my restaurants to be the most exciting kid experiences but I love Boma and haven't been in years. I'm happy to have the excuse to go!

I haven't gone in YEARS and would love to work it into my plans. Most of my TS selections have other things that are particularly great for kids - character experiences, Sci Fi, view at CA Grill, Coral Reef with tank, Ohana dinner... this is just a "boring" buffet BUT kiddo doesn't have to ask me twice. I am psyched! But I bet he would have gotten a kick out of rainforest cafe too

I love Tusker House so much because it has much more interesting choices for me but also plenty of options for him plus characters. Boma (in my experience though I haven't been in years) has food that is very similar in variety (and I would say even a level up) for me but also the basics for him ... just no characters. but since he requested it... don't have to ask me twice! YES! lol

While RFC is more convenient and might be a good option if you're Landry's Select, I think you're going to get better food and atmosphere at Boma...so I'd be more inclined to go that route as well.

yeah I am not in a rush to get there as early as possible. it is toward the end of the trip and our second AK day. Sold!
