Breakfast at Tony's

Having breakfast at Tony's in MK used to be a tradition of ours (strawberries and cream...yumm!). They stopped serving breakfast several years ago, but my dad says he thinks he read that they had started again. Can anyone confirm this?

breakfast at Tonys is on again BUT only as one of the special 'grand gathering' events for parties of 8 or more - and you get to eat with Mickey there now;

We miss it too, it was our favorite place for breakfast. Why did they stop serving it -- I can't believe it could've been for lack of business. Does anyone know?

My mom and I had the priviledge of being the very last people to eat at Tony's after 9/11. We were there two weeks later and we were the last people seated. Our waitress told us this as she took our order, and we were so sad. We go on a mom/daughter trip every year since 1996, and every year we have a pic taken by the waiter/waitress at Tony's at our table on the patio. It was a nice way to see the years pass. We are always very sad our first morning at MK when we can't eat there. But if what Howie said is true, then in June we'll have 8 people and maybe we can eat there!

Oh how we miss Tony's!! Was always our first priority on MK day.

TJA: Amazing as it appears, I seem to recall that the the "official" reason WAS lack of business--. Every time we ate there it seemed busy enough--never quite full, but hardly empty either. I guess that wasn't enough to suit WDW management.

We are doing the Grand Gathering in May and have PS for the good morning gathering and it is at Tony's. Hope it is as good now as is was when all of you raved about it.

Snow White doesn't make the pancakes at Tony's! She makes them at Cinderella's Royal Table (formerly King Stefan's)!
