Just heard that Starring Rolls is now closed. That was our usual Hollywood Studios quick breakfast. Anyone have suggestions on where we should switch to? Like what is similar? Thanks!

Starbucks' Trolley Car Cafe' on Hollywood Blvd. (more or less across the street from Starring Rolls.)

It's certainly not a replacement, but I can guess that its a main reason Starring Rolls closed.

We go to the little coffee cart across from ToT, not a lot of selections but we like the coffee better than Starbucks and I love the muffins. Bonus to get to sit there and look at ToT while you eat.

Like others have stated, I too will miss it. Sweet Spells & trolley car cafe are the closest options..:confused3

With that Spot that Starring Rolls is currently @..( Hollywood & Sunset ) *Prime real Estate, I'm guessing they'd want to utilize this as a future Headliner..I'd say another major TS to draw in more revenue..

And, the one between TSM and One Man's Dream.
These are Joffrey's Coffee stands with a decent selection of pastries.

I got a wonderful iced coffee here called a Shakin' Jamaican which was delicious (it did not have alcohol in it, although I think they do sell a version of that). DH and DS got the giant chocolate covered donut and said it was fine. I sought out the Joffrey's coffee throughout our trip as I preferred it over Starbucks.

There is no remaining breakfast place at DHS that appeals to me. I'd get breakfast outside the park before arriving.

If you really want to be adventurous you can always jump on a Friendship and head over to The Boardwalk Bakery

I'd also thought of this, but on my last trip I had two meals at The Boardwalk Bakery, and both times the wait in line was over half an hour, with the breakfast line being longer than the dinner line. If the OP's goal is truly a "quick" breakfast, I think even the buffet at H&V might be quicker than the round trip boat to Boardwalk Bakery combined with a possible long wait to order there. On the other hand, if the OP is just looking for a more affordable breakfast and it need not be quick, then the Boardwalk Bakery option could work.

If you don't mind me asking, what time did you go to the Bakery for breakfast?? Staying at BWI in November and was hoping that would be my breakfast go to! :scared:
