Guess how much this cost us today?

Seeing that I shop at a bread store that sell almost expired loaves at .89 each I will guess $6.23.

The closest expiration date is the 22nd. others a few days later. I'll wait until I get a few more guesses to post the amount.

I'll say the hot dog rolls and the 4 loaves were 2 for $1 and the potato bread was $1, so $4 total.

Well it was $5 the big king loaves were 2 for $1 and the other 3 things were 3 for $3.

I thought that was pretty darn good. Combined it with a trip to Aldi and spent a total of $52. All in all a pretty budget shopping day.
Good guessing all! Wow $2 I wish I could have gotten it that low.

5.50
I went to our Entenmann's outlet today....I spent $11.00 and got 3 cakes, 1 16 pk of the flat sandwich rounds, and 3 loaves of wheat bread.

Duh, didn't even see that you had replied....:rotfl:

yes those flat sandwich rounds were super cheap but alas nobody will eat them here. and the cakes at mine were pretty weak(hence me sticking to the budget) I can't believe I just found this place this year.

I miss having bread outlets nearby. When we lived in Michigan there was one that we frequented. It was nice never paying more than $.89/loaf of bread, and was even better when you could get 2/$1 :cool1: Think of all the French toast and grilled cheese sandwiches, yum.
