Bread at 'Ohana and Kona Cafe

Are the breads they serve before the meal the same at both locations?

No they are not, Ohana bread is a coconut pineapple bread and Kona is a sweet yeasty bread

Thank you so much for the info! Do you think one is better than the other? We are trying to decide between 'Ohanas and Kona Cafe and I think the bread might be the deal breaker! The food sounds good at both, but my husband really likes a basket of bread before his meal arrives!

We loved the bread at Ohana..it was delicious....but, I think we may try Kona this August

I like them both but prefer Kona because it is a lighter bread and served with macadamia nut butter

I agree and we eat at Kona every trip just to get some of the yummy bread and macadamia nut butter.

Kona definitely has the better bread imo.
It's so warm and delish covered in the macadamia butter.
We barely touched the bread at 'Ohana and got a second loaf at Kona, LOL.

when we eat at ohana I get them to bring some of the yummy butter from kona to the table since they share a kitchen!

I was just getting ready to ask if you thought they might bring some of the Yummy macadamia nut butter to the table at 'Ohanas? It sounds like they just might based on the previous post! I am having a really hard time deciding between the two places. We will only have time for one place at the Poly this trip. Oh what to do?
