Anyone here have this done? If you did can you tell me about your results please. How long it lasted? Did it really control frizz even in humidity? Was it easier to straighten your hair afterwards? What did it cost you? How curly/frizzy was your hair before. Yes it's the third degree!

Before and after pics would be great if anyone has them.

I'm not looking for straight hair all the time that's why I am looking into this and not Japanese hair straightening.

Mhy best friend gets it done and it is AMAZING!
Her hair is super curly and frizzy and after the keratin it is sleek and pin straight. Sort of limp the first week, but it becomes bouncy and full within a couple of weeks.
I think it cost like $350 and last for about 3 months.
She still uses a straightener, but it's more like she runs it through. There will be a curl there as time goes on, but nothing like the natural curl at first.
The good thing about this is that the whole head starts to get the curl back as time goes on, not just the roots, so it looks natural.
I have been with her in the rain and humidity and her hair still looks fantastic, I haven't seen it frizz since before she got the treatment the first time months ago.
I don't think this would be good for thin hair, thick hair only.

Thanks for your repsonse. :) Gald to hear of a great experience with it.

My hair sounds just like your friends. Don't get me wrong I can control the frizz to a certain extent. I don't mind the curls either. It's always curly though. I'd just like something different/easier to straighten for a change. It takes professionals at least an hour to straighten it. My arms can't take it.
