From the Daily Mail, also reported on numerous other news outlets.

Law enforcement and first responders met the Wonder of the Seas cruise ship as it returned to PortMiami on Monday following reports of an altercation on board between two passengers, WSVN reported.

One passenger on the ship told Local10 they saw people running near the pool area before the captain announced the ship would be returning to port because of an injured guest who needed to be hospitalized.

I really don't get the all the fights lately on airplanes and on cruise ships and in the parks......people need to take a chill pill. Heck, you are on vacation.

It's unfortunately just where we are as a society these days. There are so many people who carry around this insane (and that's what it is - insane, in the most literal definition of the word) sense of entitlement. They truly believe in their own minds somehow that they are 1000% entitled to that seat they want on the plane (even though someone else booked it), or around the pool, or in the theater, etc, or be able to do whatever activity they want over anyone and everyone else around them.

An airline Capt said he noticed the change in clientele occurring right after COVID, but why?

We saw terrible fight on the Disney Fantasy (pre-COVID). One dad started pushing another to get his kid a better place to watch the fireworks on deck. It escalated to shoving and cursing--then one guy took his belt off and started hitting the other guy with it! It took forever for DCL crew to come and break it up! No excuse for such horrible behavior in front of their kids but I think many parents are frazzled by the 'Disney experience'--things are so expensive, so crowded, kids are so tired; patience and tempers are lost.
