Braved the Sept humidity in WDW - We're back! (new pics added 12/2/09)

Todd, you really nailed a lot of Peter Pan's Flight shots. While the rest of us are still struggling with that, you're just making it look easy. I am also still in envy of your Dinosaur shots. Amazing.

Great TR and it looks/sounds like a great trip!

The picture of your DS wearing the boots with his normal clothes is classic, definitely one to bring out when he eventually brings home his first girlfriend. :rotfl:

Yep... definite blackmail material there.

Great Astro Orbiter shots! We never seem to get up there either.

Had a blast reading your trip report!

Thanks, Scott!

Thanks, Tom! I think I do pretty well with the dark rides but you, Jeff B, Matt, Susan, Cory, Jeff F, and Joe have become my major sources of inspiration to strive for more creative and technical shots at WDW. As you know, it's becoming increasingly difficult to come up with anything original... especially with so many talented photographers posting over on flickr.

It can't be over already!!!!!!! I'm looking forward to seeing more pix from the trip!

Thanks, Jordan!

Hi everyone! It's been a really long time since I updated this post (probably too long and now it look like I'm resurrecting a dead thread... sorry about that).

I started a new thread over in the photography board where I have been updating some pictures from a recent solo trip I took to WDW back at the beginning of November. Since I promised so many of you that I would update this thread with more pictures, I thought I would hop back over here, update some pics and point anyone who wants to subscribe to my newer thread in that direction (see second link at bottom of my signature :)).

Thanks so much for your continued interest and I hope you like the pictures!

To kick things off, here's a post of the kids in their Halloween costumes (a little late on posting this one, I know)

I haven't actually gone back to revisit/process any more shots from our September trip because I shot so many in November, but I'm going to try to pick it back up over the holidays.

These are some from my November trip. I was actually at the Swan for a business convention (I know, what a shame, right?) and I spent some of my days and every night in the parks.

For any of you who have also been following my flickr galleries, most of these you have already seen, but there may be some surpises or sneek peeks of what's to come on flickr from me over the next few days.

Todd. Can I just say right now? You SO missed your calling!! Seriously, if you are not making money doing this, something is majorly amiss.

WOW!!!!

There must be some sort of contest you can enter! You'd win!

Thanks, Jordan!

Haha! Thank you very much. Actually, I think if I had to do it for a living, it would take all the fun out of it. Still, I wouldn't mind making a little money on the side... at least enough to pay for my equipment.

AMAZING PICS, as usual, Todd!!! Loved them...the one of Epcot is just breathtaking!! you are quite the artist!!!! Keep sharing! Love them!!!:lovestruc

I hope this doesn't come off wrong---if it does, just forget I said it. :goodvibes

Collectively, I like the shots you have posted from November much more than the shots from September. Your shots from September were still jaw-dropping fantastic (like one of my personal faves, that shot from Buzz), but those sets of photos sort of "read" more like shots you took on a family vacation. In the most recent sets you have posted, you can tell how much time/thought went into planning each photo. The composition is great, the technique is awesome (especially in that shot of the darkroom) and you have proven again that no matter how many times you might see a certain shot (the palm trees in Tomorrowland) you can always put your own unique spin on it.

Great job on these and I'm really looking forward to seeing more posted here, even though I follow along on Flickr. :thumbsup2

Haha! Yes, you're right Ann. Definitely had much more time to focus (no pun intended) on photography during the November trip. I would say that, creatively, I am MUCH prouder of those shots than 90% of my shots from September. In September I wasn't really feeling the photography vibe, which was o.k. because it was more about spending time with the fam, but it definitely shows in my pictures.

Thanks for your comments! Can't wait to see pictures from your upcoming trip. I know you guys are starting to feel the excitement (less than 10 days, right?).
