it doesnt smell like you could eat it though, however it does smell very nice

But as far as the Jelly yes i could swear that was what my DW was told bu then again i relate evertyhing to food

I was searching for the brand/type of gel too.
We are planning a fundraiser at our local Relay for Life and are doing Princess mini-makeovers.

Seriously- the brand name is generic. White bottle, black writing "compare to Paul Mitchell" etc.

I was able to purchase it at Sally Beauty Supply.

My DD is a gymnast, we use Got 2B Glued to hold her hair down.

Dance mom here and we use Got 2B Glued as well. That stuff doesn't move once you've gelled, used pomade on the remaining fly aways then put some hairspray on there to set it all.

Also with buns having the right size and type of hair pins for the hair type helps a ton to have a good looking bun. Bun donuts can also be helpful for kids with thin hair if you want a big, pretty bun.
