Brand new to Dis, need some help and input I suppose.

So first off, I just became part of the Disney Vacation Club w/ my family and I apparently have to go 7 days a year? Not sure if I heard that right. Anyway, just wanted to say hi while also getting advice for different things to do in 7 days there, I believe I'm going second to last week of October. Thanks and I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong spot, I just discovered this site a couple days ago.

If you are interested in doing non-Disney/Universal/Sea World things, this is a good forum. You can search through the pages looking at titles of threads that may interest you. There is a separate DVC forum. The Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies forum is good for Disney planning. There is also a Disney Trip Reports forum, so you can see what others are doing. Finally, there are separate forums for Universal parks and Sea World lower down. I would suggest spending some time looking through all of them. People are happy to help new people, so feel free to ask questions on the threads.
