brand new, lots of questions

Hello everyone--so glad I found you. Not only am I new to DISBoards, our upcoming WDW/Cruise trip is FULL of firsts. First time we've ever:
*stayed in the Park (and my last visit to WDW was as a child over 20 yrs ago)
*been on the WD Cruise (in fact, this is my first cruise ever)
*traveled as a family of 4--we've got a preschooler and a 6 mo. old

As you can imagine, I have dozens (maybe tens of dozens!) of questions. What is best way to get answers? Could I post them in categories here and then have someone suggest where on DISBoards forums to look? Thanks for helping a real unknowing newbie like me!

Welcome!

Your best bet is to read the boards for a few days, checking out all the Trip Planning Boards so you can get a feel for what questions will get the best replies from where. Also, for your most pressing questions, spend some time searching the archives (using the Search feature).

My #1 suggestion is to post separate questions separately. It's hard enough finding answers to questions with so much activity on these boards, but trying to figure out which reply is to which part of which question is really tough. There's no limit to how many separate threads you can start, and there's no such thing as a stupid question, so create a separate thread for each separate question!

WELCOME you will be so happy you joined disboards! My '02 vacation wouldn't have been half what it was without this place! I am so happy to be back planning the first family trip with the DIS! :wizard:
