Can you request a room if you use online checkin? Should I call instead?

I've read that you can NOT request a room through online check in. Any requests you make by phone, however, should be pre-listed during the online check in. You just can't modify or add to them. Calling and then faxing over requests is probably your best bet!

Just a quick question. How did you like using garden grocer? Were you there for delivery or did CSR hold it for you? Ok, I guess that was 2 questions.

garden grocer worked out great for us. they had a lot of selection and the prices were fairly reasonable. i asked for them to deliver in the latest time slot on our arrival day (6-8pm) even though we wouldn't be there yet because i knew we'd want to eat and get an early start the next morning. at check-in we inquired about our groceries and were directed to bell services and they retrieved everything for us. they held everything no problem and kept all our dairy stuff refrigerated and even offered to take it to our room for us. it was the first time i'd done any kind of grocery delivery and i liked it, i'd use them again.

planning on bringing coffee to make in the room, can i take "creamer" and "sugar" from the food court?

There is creamer and suger with the coffee packets in the room.

I wanted to mention this in case I am not the only one who booked the free dining bounceback last year. I was looking at the code and Rate section of the boards and noticed some people were rebooking under the new free dining code, and saving some money. I gave it a try and saved over a hundred dollars. Not sure why it works, but it did.

I think this is the only moderate I'd want to stay at.... it looks gorgeous!!1

We returned Saturday form our 7 night stay at CSR. I got all my requests.
Newly remodeled room on the top floor with a non parking lot view. We were in Casita 3 room # 3450. The Casita section is my least favorite but is still beautiful. I have now had a room in each section. I Like the Ranchos best with the Cabanas being second. We went to the Pepper Market wich has alway been fine but looking around the food did not look appealing so we left and went to cafe Ric's and got "cheap" sandwiches which were pretty good. We found the new rooms comfortable though a bit bland. They could use some art on the walls. Loved the doors into the vanity area. We did come across the beast in the lake on one of our walks.

The gator is pretty small. Maybe 3 feet long. We walked up fairly close and he just stayed there motionless.

No matter where we stay at Disney we always pack our french press and starbucks ground coffee. Life is too short for bad coffee.

The coffee they give you is horrible! Bring your own or go to the Pepper Market where it is MUCH, MUCH BETTER.

I have used GG at other resorts & have always had a great experience with them. For our recent stay here I tried Wegoshop & was very pleased as well. The only thing is they were not able to deliver to our room, we had to meet the person up front & then bell services brought us & our groceries back to our room. The person delivering said they were not allowed to deliver to rooms at CSR, not sure if this would be the same with GG but I am thinking so.

No one is allowed to deliver anything to a room, except for us working at Coronado.
