Wow! You've picked some really great places! I am so jealous - I'd love to do the deluxe plan one day!
As for Big River Grille, they don't take ADR's through Disney's line. You'll have to call them directly at (407) 560-0253. The first time I called, some girl told me they only take reservations 30-days in advance. A wonderful DIS-er on here suggested I call back, so I did. I got a very nice man named Rich, who not only set up our reservation, also told me that if we mention we're staying on-site, we'd get a 10% discount (for anything extra, we figured -- they do take the dining plan).
Thanks! I still need to call for this one. I made my ADRs this morning and the CM told me Big River Grill was walk up only.lol Was the food good? This is the only restaurant on my list that I've never tried (oh, and Bomas for breakfast). I did the DxDDP May '08 and also last Sept and really enjoyed it. It's alot of food, but I love the appetizers and also love having that many credits to play with.
Wow--I got full after reading the second day.
You have some good places on there and some we've never tried (dying to try Flying Fish again after many, many years). We loved Yak & Yeti when we were there in September.
The Flying Fish is one my favorite restaurants, but I hate to use 2 credits for it on the basic
DDP. With the DxDDP I have enough credits to play around with and do several Signature Restaurants. Yes, it's alot of food, but as I said above I love having that many credits to play with, plus I really like the signature restaurants. I just hope I have enough room to use some of those snack credits at the Food & Wine Festival. lol I tried to space the meals out better than I did last year when I used the DxDDP. Last year I had our meals too close together. Hopefully this year I'll be hungry enough for my next meal.
We will be dining together a couple of times...
10/1 Maya Grill-D
10/2- Boma-D
10/3-MG-B
We are also on the DXDDP. It's tough trying to fit in all thoses ADR's!
I tried to book online this morning, but because I had to go with a King room Sept 26th, then a standard room for Sept 27th-Oct 4th (thanks to the AP discount not having any standard rooms on the 26th

), the online system would just let me book for the 26th & 27th. I had to call at 6:00am CT, got a great CM who asked for both ressie numbers, said no problem, they could see I was there for the entire week, and was able to book the rest of my ADRs with no problem. I had to switch a couple of lunches around, but still got Le Cellier twice (lunch and dinner) and even got California Grill at 7:20pm my first night to see Wishes. What a way to start the trip!

Oh yes, I also decided at the last minute to switch Chef's de France for San Angel Inn. I love Chef's de France, but eat there every trip, so decided to give San Angel Inn another try (didn't like it the last time I ate there). I got every ADR within about 15 minutes of when I wanted it. When I switched from the
free dining to the AP discount, I was able to upgrade to the DxDDP with the money I saved and Disney still owes my credit card money. Can't beat that!
I'll be at:
Maya Grill 8:00pm on 10/01 (Plan to switch t0 Kouzzina as soon as it can be booked though)
Boma 7:45pm on 10/02
Maya Grill 7:45am on 10/03
I usually carry a little lime Green Overland Donner Placer bag with a lime green Mickey head on it. Say hi, if you see me. I usually meet up with some other Disers every trip at Le Cellier. This year I'm meeting some Sat 10/03, so made that ADR with three extra seats. I'm not concerned though, because we always make it for a few extra people and have never had a problem filling the empty seats. Can't wait!
I went back and added the correct times and days to my previous post.
