Is there a table and chairs in the new rooms or just a desk and chair.

Only a desk and chair. However, there are two ottomans in the room that you can sit on to put on your shoes or little ones can put a paper plate on to eat off.

We leave in the morning for our journey to Disney!

We'll arrive Friday around 3ish to check in. I can't wait, though am hoping that the rain disipates just a little (don't mind a little to keep the crowd levels down). Anyone leaving for a trip this week/next week check the hours, they have added some hours on to several days!

I will be sure to take TONS of pics and hope to have a wonderful trip report to share when we get back on the 30th.

Have a wonderful vacation. Praying for not a lot of rain for you. And I'm counting on you (and Alan Renfroe) for lots of pictures as I'm having withdrawal since we're not going this year. But I want all my CSR family to have a magical trip when it is their time.

I am hoping for some pixie dust at CSR when we arrive on June 26.
Hopefully, one of you will have some encouragement for me.

I bought the Buy 4/Get 3 Free package. Then my DH came home and told me that his work had to change the dates of his vacation. Then we got a great rate on airfare so we will be arriving one day earlier than originally expected. I tried to switch our arrival day up one day for the package, but if I moved it up a day, I would lose the deal. So, I had to buy a room only for the first night at CSR. We arrive early in the morning around 10:00 AM. So, we should be checking in around 11:00 AM. We are really hoping that they will release our tickets a day early.

If they can't give us just the tickets early, we will spend the day relaxing at the pool, riding the monorails, and going to Downtown Disney. We could also buy one day tickets to a water park.

So, has anyone here been able to get their tickets early?
I figure we could even plan on viewing fireworks from the Poly beach or possibly go to the Chip and Dale Sing-along at Fort Wilderness.

Here is some that you can get your tickets early. If not...go lay by the Dig Site pool, have a drink with Francisco at the bar, lay in one of the hammocks, take a walk around the resort after the sun has gone down through the Casitas section and take in the beauty of the fountains in the courtyards.

Is it really as raining right now as they are posting on the weather channels? Does anyone if there have been storms? I know Florida weather is unexpected (I'm used to it I live in Chicago!) but I wasn't sure if I should believe all the hoopla

Okay, since we're not going to Disney this year and I can't post any Disney pictures, I'm posting this picture of our oldest son (the one who is taking his 14-year old baseball team to Disney in July) with his girlfriend. We are leaving for Atlanta on Friday....(to get my parents) and then arrive on Sat. around 2 ish..... Hope we have a great week with great weather....

I believe that La Tienda closed. It was the small convenience store just outside the Pepper Market. I think they closed it when they opened Cafe Rix.

You are correct. LaTienda was the convenience store. Cafe Rix overtook it and more space (the old indoor lounge).

Yes, it's been raining since Sunday night! The showers are off and on, but the showers off times are few and far between.

KatMark, sorry that you had to cancel your trip I know how much you were looking forward to it. Well I guess you have more time to plan for your trip next year right!! I am having CSR withdrawal and I just went in Feb! I am trying to figure a way back this year, but it does not look like it will happen as both of my daughters are pregnant!! Alicia is due on 9/18 (which was my due date for her!!) and Jess is due on 12/2 so that pretty much leaves us out to go anywhere far. They both live at home still, so my house looks like baby central!! But I cannot wait these will be my first grandchildren. So I will be busy. So maybe some pixie dust will come your way....Deb
