Brainwashed daughter, obsessed mom, burger and fries dad..pre-trip

Hi and:welcome:

I do have some pics of my family, but have to figure out how to post them. I love my new camera and I'm still learning how to use it.
I'm hoping that my husband becomes a big fan of Disney and wants to go EVERY year!:rotfl:

I've read a lot of good reviews for the breakfast buffet that's why I picked it. As for the rest of our ADR'S, most are for breakfast. I do have a 50's lunch that I'm trying to decide yes or no on, I also have dinner with Cinderella reserved (at 1900 Park fare) and I have Garden Grill as a dinner adr.
I've gone over the books, the websites and the DIS for help on the hopping and I think I'm narrowing it down.

party:WooHoo!!! Just ordered our MNSSHP tickets!! It's getting closer 54 more days. I think that I have decided to cancel my 50's lunch and do a Pizza Planet CS (and the reason being, my DD loves Toy Story), Dinner at Garden Grill at 5:45. Now DH is demanding;) a steak dinner in the mix somewhere, so I'm trying to figure that out. I would like LeCellier, but so far nothing available :sad2:
Now reading other PreTrip reports I always chuckled when someone mentioned how many times they played around with their ADR's and I thought that was silly ....wellllll that's exactly what I've been doing:rotfl:

(I found you on the official September thread as we are going around the same time and at the same resort!)

I have rearranged ADR's like you wouldn't believe. Totally ridiculous but even now I still question them. I still don't know if I want to do MNSSHP, I keep going back and forth on it. I'm also tempted to buy one of those fancy cakes like on the cake thread. I just can't make up my mind when it comes to this trip! I'm not like this with any other vacation it's weird.

I am trying to keep the spending down but also want to have an amazing time because it's on our first anniversary :cloud9: and my first time at Disney.

Ok enough talking about my trip

And that's totally awesome about the camera. I have a total piece of junk camera and I really want a new one.

p.s.
I'm so sorry about your dog. :sad1:

I keep checking the WDW website for dining, to see if anything I might want opens up. I'm REALLY excited about the MNSSHP party (heck, I"m excited about the whole trip...even being around my hubby that long:rotfl2:)
DH did hem and haw about the price of the party and wondered if it's really worth that amount and I said YES! He himself keeps saying that this is a one time thing (the WDW trip:scared1:), but our daughter will change his mind;)
Luckily we had 128 dream dollars that I used towards the tickets :thumbsup2
Onto another happy note....I got a new vehicle (okay, a new used vehicle). A 2008 Trailblazer and I  it. DH was going to buy me a brand new car next year, but I saw this and had to have it! So now we'll be taking this to Disney instead of his Equinox. I do have some pics that I'll try to post. Happy Planning!

I keep checking too because I really want to go to 'Ohana now for dinner but it doesn't look like it's going to happen :sad1:

It's quite possible that this will be our only trip for a long time because we both have many other trips that we want to take. :guilty:

But on a happier note congrats on the new car! :cool1:

Thank You! She was our little baby:sad1:

New purchase today for the trip: a new DVD player for the car!!
:woohoo: I should be getting our MNSSHP tickets in the mail this week!
Was thinking about printing them at home or just picking them up when we get to WDW, decided on snail mail:laughing:

This is me and my daughter!

Wow! That's huge! How do you downsize?

Adorable picture! You PTR title got me.

Sorry about the loss of your dog. That is so tough!

You downsize when you upload to photobucket (or whoever you are using). There's a command in there that lets you select the size of the photo. See what you are on now and take it down one. It's all trial and error.

Congrats on your upcoming trip. I'm sure you'll have a blast.

 yeah, oh yeah, got the tickets, got the tickets!!!:rotfl:
Got out MNSSHP tickets (cards) a couple days ago. 42 more days left!!
Gonna really start getting things together and work on my park hopping plans.
I ordered dd an autograph book and that was sent out yesterday and now I'm looking at lanyards... Do they sell those at the parks? Our local Disney store doesn't carry them :confused

Just checking in to say......31 MORE DAYS...
In 30 days we'll be on our way to the World!
I'm so excited!
I'm going to post my touring plans and meals, PLEASE let me know what you all think. We've never been to WDW...EVER and I want this to be an awesome time for us, because we probably won't go back for a few years.

WOW! The days are flying by!! 15 more sleeps:woohoo:
Hard to believe that it is almost here. We (meaning me and my daughter) are getting so X-cited!! I pretty much have our days planned, but still a little confused on the park hopping, but I have an idea (which I will post) of what parks to hop to and if all else fails we'll just "wing" it:lmao:
Our plan is to leave on sept 23 for Lorton, Va and stay the night near the Auto train, wake the next morning, have a "free" breakfast, check in at the train station and then go up the road to the disney outlet store and do a little shopping, plus have lunch before handing our vehicle over to amtrak personnel. Our drive to Lorton is about 7 hours and I just figure doing it this way will give us a good nights sleep before the 17 1/2 hour train ride to Florida. Have never been on the train so am not sure how we'll sleep. No sense in leaving our home at 4 a.m., driving in unknown territory trying to find the train station and getting there on time to check in:scared1:
Will continue in a little bit!

UPDATE!!!! 7 days, 7 days!!!
All the planning and reading the last 2 years....will it do us any good? I hope so!:lmao:
I left off, saying we were staying near the auto train, well, that is done!
Our plan now is to leave at about noon on the 23 rd, drive to lorton and check into our hotel. The next day check in at amtrak and wait! Was thinking we could check in and leave as long as we had our car back by 2, but the lady I talked to last night said we couldnt' do that. So we'll see...
Got my maps in the mail that I ordered from the disney website and they are so cool:cool2:
Auto train should roll into Sanford, Fl around 9:30 a.m. or earlier:thumbsup2
I did online check in yesterday, so it should go smoothly when we get to CBR, I hope! I guess I'll request a room a few days before arrival, because online check in didn't give me the option. Our first day will be up in the air...possibly a park, but I"m not sure. I don know that I am adding an extra parkhopper day ticket, hey, for $25, I'll do it!
I do know that I want to go to DTD to see what they have and to have lunch at EOS (I've read good reviews of it) and I'm thinking maybe MK for electric parade and wishes or maybe EPCOT for Illuminations (which do you all think would be best?)
Day 1: EPCOT day with breakfast at Akershus
leave around 1 for break at CBR and a park later (most likely one we didn't do night before)
Day 2: MK with breakfast at Crystal Palace
leave around 1 for break at CBR and MNSSHP later
Day 3: This will be a Off day:rolleyes1, yes, I said it OFF day
Hubby said we have to have a break in the middle somewhere:eek:, sooooo, ok honey;)
Anyways, this day will start off with breakfast at Chef Mickeys
Some putt putt golf at winter wonderland, maybe some outlet shopping and we are planning on doing a park later AFTER dinner at Hooters (a DH request since ours closed)
Have to go for now....I hear work calling me:headache:

4 days before we leave for the auto train!!
On with the plans!
Day 4: AK day with breakfast at Tusker House
I know this park closes at 5, so I'm thinking MK later for wishes
We also have dinner ressies for 1900 Park Fare
Day 5: Last day:eek:
DHS day!
Lunch at 50's prime (had a Garden Grill ressie for dinner, but just cancelled). Not really sure about a park tonight, I'm thinking maybe Epcot for fireworks before we leave the next day:sad1:
Now I'm rreally really REALLY hoping my hubby becomes "possessed" with love of Disney and wants to go back next year, because I would like to try going during the Christmas season.
Please feel free to give suggestions, ideas, etc,.

Bumping this to see if I get any responses;)
Realized last night that DD's pull along tink bag isn't going to be big enough for her clothes:rotfl: DH said I would overpack, so now she gets one of the bigger suitcases and her pull along will be used to take her toys and such on the auto train:thumbsup2

Still can't believe that we leave in 3 days and will arrive at the " World " on Sunday:cheer2:
